$21 for 2 adults to eat at a buffet!! Great deal, comes with water. (No lemon available tho). The Restaurant was clean and they played good music (The Doors). Salad was just a house salad, served to you, and the pizza, pasta (regular sauce and alfredo), bread and cimmamon sticks were on the Buffet bar. The food was tasty, but wished there was more selection of pizza. Meryssa was our dual hostess and waitress, she greeted us when we came in with a smile and a "Welcome to Pizza Hut, sit where you like" . She brought our drinks, cleared our table as we ate, and checked us out. She was friendly, polite, and professional! (Give her a raise, as she does a great job representing "The Hut").... We saw the "Wheel" as we were checking out, so did did'nt have time to do a review there, as I like to take my time.
Hopefully I will have the opportunity to spin it and get a free item when we come back in a few weeks.
I don’t usually write reviews, and I definitely don’t usually write long ones. But every once in a while, you come across someone whose work ethic, character, and consistency deserve more than a quick five-star rating. This is one of those times.
I’ve been to many Pizza Hut locations over the years — different cities, different teams, different experiences. Some good, some average, some forgettable. This location stands out, and the reason is Meryssa.
From the moment you walk in, you can tell whether someone is just on shift or whether they genuinely care about how they treat people. Every interaction I’ve had with her has been the second. She greets customers warmly and naturally — not robotic or rushed. She makes eye contact, smiles genuinely, and acknowledges you as a person, not just the next order.
Customer service is often reduced to speed, but real service is about connection and attentiveness. She consistently delivers that balance.
I’ve seen her work slow afternoons and busy dinner rushes. When phones are ringing and orders are stacking up, her demeanor doesn’t change. She stays calm, composed, and professional. I once watched her handle a frustrated customer during a rush. Instead of getting defensive, she listened fully, acknowledged the concern, apologized sincerely, and worked toward a solution. The situation de-escalated quickly because of her steady approach. That kind of emotional intelligence makes a real difference.
Her attention to detail also stands out. She double-checks modifications, communicates clearly with the kitchen, and makes sure orders are accurate before they go out. The food has consistently been fresh and well-prepared — hot pizzas with evenly distributed toppings, properly cooked crust, warm breadsticks, and evenly sauced wings. Nothing feels rushed or careless.
Cleanliness is another positive. Tables are wiped down promptly, the counter stays organized, and even during busy times the lobby doesn’t feel chaotic. She stays proactive and contributes to keeping the environment welcoming.
On a more personal note, I’ve known Meryssa outside of work, and the way she treats customers isn’t something she turns on for a shift. She’s genuinely thoughtful, patient, and respectful. She takes pride in what she does and doesn’t cut corners. That character shows up in how she works.
She helps coworkers when they’re overwhelmed, steps in when something needs to be done, and maintains positive energy even during long shifts. In customer service, attitude spreads quickly. A steady presence can stabilize an entire environment, and she provides that stability.
She also builds loyalty. She remembers faces, small details, and greets repeat customers professionally but warmly. From a business standpoint, that matters. Retention isn’t just about product quality — it’s about experience.
This review isn’t exaggeration. It’s recognition of consistency. Every interaction I’ve seen has been respectful. Every busy moment has been handled with composure. That’s not accidental — that’s character.
The food is good. The environment is clean. The team works hard. But the service — the human element — is what makes this location memorable, and she plays a major role in that.
Five stars without hesitation.
