In the flower department, Matthew A., demonstratied awesome patience, greatly assisted me in choosing a beautiful violet and lavender orchid to present to my loving wife. Alyssa, showing a good deal knowledge of chocolate, helped me pick the perfect blend to thrill my incredible wife's palate. Melissa G. and the four-key manager, Lisa Castin, both went beyond the call of duty to point out where various items in the store were located, all with a very pleasant smile. Finally, Josh Hill provided me with a lengthy explanation, as to the pros and cons of a fair number different brands of bacon.

The dairy section has been largely empty since October. Produce frequently spoils or develops mold within one to three days of purchase. I have also purchased multiple items that were moldy on arrival. Multiple customers have noted the same problems in reviews spanning more than a year. Despite this, no corrective action has been taken. Employees openly acknowledge that store staff do not order or stock inventory; corporate sends a separate night crew that controls all inventory and pricing, which confirms that corporate is aware of these issues. There also appear to be price manipulation practices that resemble dynamic pricing. Prices rise and then later appear as “sale” prices. After confronting staff about specific items, those same products were immediately discounted within days. These conditions raise concerns for: • Food safety • Consumer pricing deception • Corporate negligence • Lack of accountability • Lack of competition in the community I intend to document shelves and product conditions weekly and encourage fellow residents to report food quality issues to local health authorities. Show Low deserves a grocery store that meets basic food safety and consumer standards.
