  If you’ve never been to The Thumb, just know you don’t go there in a hurry. You go there hungry and ready to commit to the experience. The food was absolutely worth it. I ordered what can only be described as a “hold my breath until the first bite” kind of sandwich, and it delivered. Crispy bacon, fresh ingredients, perfectly toasted bread. The kind of meal that makes you question why you ever settle for fast food. Now the wait… I had enough time to reflect on my life choices, maybe consider picking up a new hobby, and check my phone way too many times. It was over 20 minutes after ordering. Not terrible, but definitely long enough to build up some expectations. Luckily, the food lived up to it. Big bonus points for the motorcycle parking. During bike week that felt like VIP treatment. No circling around like you’re lost, just pull up and go. The patio seating was a nice touch too. The weather was perfect, and it made everything feel relaxed instead of like I was just waiting around. I can’t speak for how that patio feels in the middle of summer though, Arizona heat is a whole different story. Overall, great food, chill vibe, and very biker friendly. I’d definitely go back, just maybe not when I’m already starving.

  The worst brisket sandwich I've ever had. 0/10 would not recommend. The meat was chewy and inedible, and the portion was small (which I didn't mind because it was so bad). Very disappointing. Service was friendly, but due to the quality I won't be back.

  World Class service and absolutely incredible food. This place is a must stop in N Scottsdale. Everett especially went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I need. Don’t sleep on the Thumb!

  We were a very large group with a complicated to go order. The Thumb nailed it … the order was packed to perfection, still warm when we made it back to the house and the food was oh so delicious!! You should definitely check them out!!

  Convenience matters, and with Tom Thumb less than a half mile from my home, I genuinely wanted this to be my go-to car wash. After a disappointing first car wash visit over a year ago, I gave it a pass and began making the six-mile trip to a competitor that consistently delivers exactly what I pay for. But optimism — and the hope that things had improved — brought me back for a second try. Unfortunately, my second visit confirmed what the first one suggested: this car wash has a quality problem. The issues were the same as before — partially cleaned windows, body panels that hadn't been fully addressed, and an overall lack of attention to detail that no paying customer should have to accept. What's particularly telling is that the shortcomings weren't random. They were consistent — which points less to an off day and more to a systemic absence of quality control. Unlike better-run operations where supervisors spot-check work and hold staff accountable, Tom Thumb appears to leave the quality of your wash entirely to whichever attendants happen to be working that day. On both of my visits, I drew the short straw. I'll continue buying gas here — the location is simply too convenient to abandon entirely. But when it comes to trusting them with my vehicle again, I'm a firm believer that two data points make a trend. "Third time's a charm" is a saying, not a car wash standard. Until there's clear evidence that quality control has been taken seriously, I'll keep making the three-mile drive.
