  A new restaurant always has problems but they continue to make mistakes. Even if you ask them to fix the mistake they take it as an offense. The manager was very rude and the food was undercooked and then they took it back and overcooked it. It took over a half hour to get our food and then whenever they took the food back to the kitchen I took them 20 minutes to get it back to us and then they try to act like I was the problem. I told the manager that all I wanted him to do was fix it and instead he told me to never come back

  Absolutely fantastic. They were able to fit 16 of us last minute. The service was incredible, the food was outstanding and the ambience was great. Most definitely a 10/10!!!

  It seems every person raves about the service here, but unfortunately that was not our experience. I don’t know if our specific server was new, or over loaded, or just having an off day, but it was almost comical how bad our service was. We went on a Monday night and sat outside. We had to remind our server 3 times to bring us water. We ordered 3 margaritas of different types and after waiting 30 minutes to get them, 1 of them was wrong and we didn’t receive the right one until after we got our food (30 minutes later). We were brought guac, even though we didn’t order it, and after asking our server why we received it, she was confused and totally thought we did. Other than the poor service, it was a beautiful night, the salsa here is AMAZING, and we all loved our meals. We sat outside but the inside looked so cool to eat in as well. We will be back, just hoping for better service next time. Photo is of El Gigante margarita, which was good. The watermelon one tastes like a jolly rancher, sweet but also good.

  Alexa and the hostesses are amazing! Every time we come it is a great experience. One time I wasn’t having the best day, and Alexa was very sweet and honestly made my day better. Plus the food is delicious. The atmosphere is awesome. We went another time and had great service from Jett. Will always be coming back. Shout out to Corey, Brock, and Alex as well. It’s nice always feeling welcome any day of the week. As regulars, they never fail to remember our orders - lol. La Cocina is one of our go-to restaurants, and the people there make it even better. Love to spend quality time there with my partner.

  Brock, Corey, and Alex are the best waiters I’ve ever met in my entire life. My girlfriend and I come here regularly, and they’re a huge part of why we keep coming back. Every time we walk in, they make us feel genuinely welcome—not just like customers, but like people they actually remember and care about. They’re always attentive without being overbearing, quick without ever making us feel rushed, and consistently go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Whether it’s remembering our usuals, checking in at just the right moments, or just bringing a great energy to the table, they make every visit better. It’s rare to find service this consistently great from multiple people, but all three of them set the standard. They’ve honestly turned a place we like into a place we look forward to coming back to. Couldn’t recommend them more.
