  It was my first time trying this restaurant and placed a pickup order. I was hoping for a great experience and to become a regular customer. Although ordering was a bit frustrating because of the system they use pickup went well and was friendly, but I made the mistake of not checking over my order. Unfortunately the dessert I ordered was excluded. When I called to let them know they didn't believe me, and I had to argue. For one I really wanted the dessert, and secondly I wanted to eat my dinner not argue and be placed on hold twice for a long period. Eventually they discovered I was right, but there was no apology. Mistakes happen it's how you handle them that matters. If the food had been delicious perhaps all of this could be overlooked. However I didn't taste any depth of flavor, and the prices do not justify the quality. Also the rice situation is simply bs and it's just another restaurant extorting the people of Scottsdale. Some of us are just regular people trying to get some dinner. One and done.

  A great experience all around. Food was amazing from the appetizers to the entrees. We had a party of 9 people and everyone agreed that the food was excellent. The staff was beyond accommodating as well. They let us have the private room, set up the tables in our desired configuration, and even let us bring in custom desserts for our party. Freddy was our server and was also the one that booked our reservation. He gave us food recommendations and was on top of service the whole time. 10/10 would visit again.

  I took my niece for a birthday dinner celebration here. What a great atmosphere and great hospitality by the staff!! We ordered the butter lamb and the curry goat as the main entries. Absolutely a delicious choice. Britney and Freddy were incredible in guiding my niece and I through the menu. We did order a few other items too. All items were to die for in such delightful taste and combination of a full course dinner meal. We will continue to come and satisfy our Indian food cravings as we have been doing it for months now. Thank you Britney and Freddy!!

  Taj Mahal in Scottsdale is an excellent choice if you are looking for truly authentic and flavorful Indian food. From the moment you walk in, you can tell you’re in the right place — seeing many tables occupied by people of Indian origin immediately gives you confidence that the food is genuine and well prepared. The dishes are absolutely delicious, with rich, well-balanced spices that really transport you to India and make you feel as if you were there. Every bite is full of depth and authentic flavor. The service was also outstanding. A special mention goes to Veronica, who was incredibly kind, attentive, and made my experience even more enjoyable with her warm and professional service. Great food, authentic atmosphere, and excellent attention — highly recommended.

  I’ve waited comfortably here as an Uber delivery person, but I’ve also wanted to try it. It’s a bit pricey for me personally, but well worth it. The food here is so delicious. I did mild medium heat … scared to be overwhelmed. I wasn’t the flavor is so very good even without the spice, but for me I wish I would have gone for medium or hotter even. It’s fresh, it’s flavorful, and it’s delicious. My shrimp were cooked perfectly. Being in the restaurant was very comfortable and there is a large selection of spirits at the bar. A nice and relaxing atmosphere. I myself enjoy Indian song and dance which is obviously playing. Highly recommend. Don’t be scared to go for a little spice… they are scared to spice you too much. Mild medium again has great flavor with very very mild spice. I will be trying medium hot next time! Delicious thank you!
