Meat Department is always poorly stocked, especially in late afternoon early evening. Especially with regard to advertised items such as petite sirloin. Mike is awesome. Other staff is moody as the day is long.

- DDDGFeb 28, 20261.0I purchased garlic bread from the bakery at this location today. I baked it for dinner guests. I opened the foil bag after baking and it was covered in mold. The sticker on the bag said it was packaged today. NO WAY. My guests saw the bread and said the same thing happened to us a few weeks ago. There is a problem here. I like the store otherwise but won’t buy from the bakery again.

You could tell from the onset, she hated her job and had an attitude the size of an avalanche. Why on earth would you ever have somebody like that serving your customers at the first line of entry into Safeway??? Unhelpful, rude & dismissive thinking this “old lady” would go away. I insisted on speaking with the Mngr. who was FANTASTIC & PROFESSIONAL (I wish I would have remembered his name because he’s a keeper!!! ). She was reluctant to get me the manager but I continued to insist to see them. He was FANTASTIC And apologized for her behavior. I’m SURE it’s not the 1st time with this CS person but one bad apple…….
