This is the one restaurant my family gets together to eat at. It’s that “one” restaurant we all chose to go to because all of us don’t live in the same parts of the country so we meet here the first thing we do after landing at PHX. Last time that will EVER happen. Your customer service is trash and why send a survey that asks to explain in detail what happenend, only to take your time and then get an instant email free meal “because of the hassle”, which shows no one read anything nor care. What a waste of time and what a waste of a restaurant Portillo’s has become. The more you expand the worst your food and service gets. I’ve learned my lesson.

It’s disappointing and unsafe, especially since this issue happens consistently at different locations. I love Portillo’s, but the chicken quality and food safety need serious attention.

They have a fun '50s diner-meets-Hard Rock Cafe atmosphere. The staff is friendly and eager to serve. We tried one of their Famous Five: their Chicago-style Italian beef and a large order of onion rings. Everything was great. I'll take a good Italian beef sandwich over a cheesesteak any day, and theirs is beefy and juicy—it's so good. They also serve beer and wine and are perfect for groups with ample seating and multiple locations.
