We tried the closest McDonald’s to the park—2 miles away with the boys haranguing us to get there fast as they were starving. We ordered and the cashier said that the ice cream machine was down. The 4 yr old had a conniption and cancelled our order explaining to the cashier that he and his brother had their hearts set on a milkshake. The cashier apologized and the people behind us chuckled. We drove to the next closest one. It was clean, friendly and had milkshakes. That McDonald’s saved the day. The boys thanked the employees profusely.
