  We had an absolutely incredible experience celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary at Mastro’s Ocean Club in Scottsdale. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail were outstanding. The food was phenomenal—perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and truly memorable. What made the evening even more special was the exceptional service from our server, John. I entrusted him with a very special surprise for my wife—an emerald gold ring—and he handled everything flawlessly. He coordinated the moment perfectly and presented the ring with our dessert in such an elegant and thoughtful way. It turned our anniversary dinner into a truly unforgettable moment. Thank you to John and the entire team at Mastro’s Ocean Club for making our celebration so special. We felt genuinely cared for and appreciated. We will absolutely be back!

  When you walk in this place, the atmosphere is initially very beautiful. Me and my fiancé order two filet mignon‘s mine was Wagyu. Hers was not. my steak was the worst Wagyu I’ve ever had her regular fillet was better than my hundred dollar steak. I ordered six oysters on the half shell. As I started tasting them, I knew something wasn’t right. They tasted as if they weren’t stored properly and they were starting to turn. My bill was $400 which I was already expecting.. But what I wasn’t expecting was to get food poisoning from the oysters for the next 48 hours. The restaurant actually reached out to me and said that they wanted to take care. Of our meal or at least make the experience better in someway. But they never did anything. I can’t believe I had this bad of an experience at a restaurant that’s supposed to be so good. For $400 I’ve literally had to go to the hospital because I can’t stop throwing up.

  This is what I expect from a steakhouse when I’m spending $100+ for a steak and sides. The price of their steaks are a bit ridiculous but the food was delicious. The thing that put it over the top was the service. A+ to our server and his assistant. Dishes didn’t sit around, glasses never got empty, served us our food, the crumb cleanup; exactly what you’d expect for a quality steakhouse. The 4 of us just ate at Cleverman a couple weeks ago for mine and my BIL’s birthday. Night and day difference with the quality of food and again, the quality service. All 4 of us agreed that Ocean Club was head and shoulders above Cleverman. Again, the pricing is a bit out of hand on the steaks but Ocean Club is definitely a restaurant that the 4 of us will keep in mind for special occasions in the future.
