  We really enjoy this spot! The patio is cozy and has a lively, fun atmosphere that makes it a great place to hang out. All of the meats are wood-smoked, which adds great flavor, and the salsa is delicious. They also offer a great happy hour and a solid Taco Tuesday deal. The house margarita is one of the best in the Valley—fresh, tart, and not overly sweet. It’s probably my favorite margarita around. Prices run a little on the higher side, and the guacamole portion is fairly small. The steak wasn’t our favorite, but the pork and the margaritas are absolutely phenomenal. Those alone keep us coming back!

  This is hands down the best Mexican and best dinner I’ve literally ever had. My family and I were visiting the Scottsdale area, looking for some authentic Mexican restaurants and this place was beyond our expectations. We had an excellent server who provided great recommendations. Definitely get the Steve-a-Rita!! Everyone was pleased with their entrees, I can’t recommend this place more! It’s been a few days since visiting and we’re all still Talking about it. This is the place!! I cannot wait until we’re able to visit again.

  We ate here for the first time tonight. The food was delicious. The service was not the best. We had our kids with us and the hostess did not bring kids menus to the table. We had to ask for them. Our server wasn't the best and we never got a few things we asked for. I think she was just having an off night. The food was good enough that I would eat there again.

  From out of state so I have to rely on reviews and I'm so confused how this place has 4.4 stars. First sign should have been that it was empty even though google stated it as "busier than usual." Second sign should have been pigeons all over the patio, on the tables, on the chairs, etc. Yes I get it is outside but we have eaten outside all week and this has been a non issue everywhere else. The server, he was great, the salsa, also great, those were the only good things about the experience. The food, so over priced and underseasoned, it was abysmal. Portions were super tiny as well. My 3 tacos were barely filled but also somehow so soggy that when you picked it up everything disintegrated, and my husband's pork was slow cooked but in what, would be the question because it was flavorless...Unfortunate, but I'd skip this place.

  Outstanding higher end mexican restaurant. Bar choices fill up the back of the menu which is very large. Many many food choices that you do not see at your average mexican restaurant. The reason is this is not your average mecican restaurant. High quality ingredients, large portions and a lot of side choices above the usual rice and beans makes it even more special. Plus thoughtful and interesting options for the Vegetarians and Vegans in your group. Will have to try one next time. Great stuff!
