We had a wonderful experience at Los Sombreros in Scottsdale! This is such a welcoming, family-friendly restaurant. We ate outside in mid-January, and even though it was chilly, they thoughtfully brought out a heater to make us comfortable—which we really appreciated. Rosie was our server, and she was incredibly kind and attentive, making the whole experience even better. The food was excellent—the steak tacos were absolutely amazing, and the Carne a la Tampiqueña was flavorful and perfectly cooked. We also loved the cocktails, especially the smoky mezcal Old Fashioned, which was perfectly balanced and delicious. Great food, warm service, and a cozy atmosphere—highly recommend!

Friendly staff, clean establishment. Wait staff are attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! I had the chicken mole and ate it all up. Their salsa tastes great. I think it has a smoked taste to it with just a hint of spicy-ness. I wish they had it for sale, I'd buy a case! The only downside is the limited parking.

We were here for lunch on NYE and we had a great experience. Service was speedy, food was delicious, and atmosphere was cozy! I had the fried pollo burrito, and hubby had the carnitas platter. I would recommend both!

I had their guac, chicken enchiladas and a ranch water. Overall really good! The guacamole was very cold, probably preprepared and out of the fridge. Good but would have been better if it were warmer. The chicken in the enchiladas was excellent. I liked their verde sauce too. Portions were just right as well, not too much and very good quality. The ranch water is hard to screw up. I liked that they used Topo Chico. The service was excellent, just enough attention but not invasive.

We had a group of 5 and stopped in on the night of 12/21/25. The food was very good and we enjoyed the somewhat outdoor dining experience. However, the chairs were very uncomfortable to sit on. Also, our waitress was efficient but had a bit of a "cold" demeanor when interacting with us. Lastly, I had to fix the toilet in the ladies room. I could hear the water from toilet running nonstop as i entered the ladies room. The flushing handle was dangling off the front and nearly falling off. No way this was a new issue so clearly they ignored the problem for a while. I took off the toilet tank and luckily it was simple fix to pickup the nut that goes on the inside part of tank handle and screw it all back into place. The bathroom was clean, but again, no way this issue had gone unnoticed so not sure why I, as customer, had to fix it.
