If you can only eat at one place in Scottsdale make it here!! Everything from the aesthetic to the servers to the drinks as especially the food. Luckily we came during lunch so we had the 3 course express lunch for $40. The vodka sauce pasta AMAZING, the branzino ORGASMIC, but your gotta start with the whipped eggplant and puccia appetizer. They were out of the octopus so that was a bummer but I’ll be back to try it again for sure

Absolutely loved this place- it was my first time going and I was immediately greeted by the best bartenders, they totally made my night! Saydye is the sweetest and was so knowledgeable on menu descriptions- she gave exquisite food recommendations, was intuitive with my needs/wants and also recommended somewhere fun to go afterwards- she was a treat! Gio as well was such a pleasant & kind soul and made me the best custom espresso martini- also was intuitive with my needs/wants. Both bartenders were 10/10 and the food was incredible too! Loved my little night out because of them. Thank you!!!

Food was honestly just mid. Yes, the whipped eggplant is good but a little overpriced for what you get. We also had the octopus, which is more of a salad, and it had celery, which was not listed on the menu and I am not celery fan. For our entrees we both had pastas. Again, good, but nothing to recommend or come back for. Service was fine until we had trouble using our Open Table gift card, to which Steven, the manager was extremely unprofessional and rude. Even though the gift card was connected to our reservation, with Elephante being the first option that popped up to use the gift card on, he refused to accept it, stating "the restaurant hasn't been open for a year." This is something I have never heard given as an excuse and when asked where it says that, he couldn't provide any answer. Very poor customer service, and he doesn't belong at a high-end restaurant if that's how he treats customers. We will not be back.

I took my oldest daughter out to eat . I asked her to pick a nice place so she suggested we try out this restaurant. I love the location. It’s right at the Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall. We went on a Saturday evening. You might have to drive around a bit to find a close parking spot on a busy weekend . The restaurant looks beautiful from the outside. It has a nice curb appeal with the entrance right under the drop off and pick up area of the main entrance of the mall. When you walk in , there’s a hostess station where you’ll start. They’ll either tell you how long you have to wait and get your number so they can text you when your table is ready , or they’ll let you know what type of seating is available and walk you back to your table. Since it was busy , we got an outside patio table , which we ended up getting a table too small for the amount of food we were ordering. But there are lots of other tables that would have been perfect if it wasn’t so busy. Most of the food is served Tapas style. No plates full or combinations. You’ll have to order and pay for each individual item. We splurged and I ordered the ribeye which was over $125 + I wanted my steak a medium but it was more on the rare side so choose your temperature a category over. .. We chose a few other sides and we tried their fluffy pillow bread which was interesting. The desert we chose wasn’t available after some wait so we tried the poplova which was very delicious. The waitress complimented us with it. It was a good meal but caution the prices. I spent over $200 + for just me and my daughter. Before tip. The atmosphere inside is beautiful and spacious. Different types of tables and seatings are available. The outdoor eating area is nice too but the speakers run along the middle of the dining area and the music was too loud to hear someone speaking in front of you. They had a DJ that evening and it was louder outside than inside. The bathrooms are nice. Full doors for privacy and there’s a bathroom attendant that you tip The food isn’t spiced much. But it does have an interesting take if you want something different. And the atmosphere sets an elegant mood. I’d suggest try the weekdays over the busy weekends if you want a less crowded restaurant. If you can dine before the mall closes , you’ll have time to shop and walk around . Or you can hit the mall first then eat. The mall is a perk before or after dining.

We tried this restaurant recently and were honestly disappointed with the overall food experience. We started with the pineapple and cucumber spitz, which was just okay. There were a few cucumber slices floating in the glass, but no trace of cucumber flavor in the drink itself. For our appetizer, we ordered the eggplant dish, which didn’t look appetizing and had very little taste. The texture was mostly the crème fraîche rather than the eggplant. The bread that came with it, however, was excellent—hot, crispy, and nicely puffed, like a giant pita balloon. For my main course, I ordered the grilled chicken. Unfortunately, it was the worst dish of the evening. Even the thigh meat was dried out, and the chicken breast was so overcooked it was tough and rubbery—like chewing on a shoe sole. It tasted as if it had been sitting in the oven for hours. The sauce was spicy and flavorful, but that didn’t save the dish. If your chefs don’t know how to properly cook chicken, please train them—or send them to the Safeway deli to learn how it’s done. Since the entrées are à la carte, I added a side of crispy potatoes—which were essentially steak fries—for an extra $12. My wife ordered the pasta with vodka sauce, which tasted good but was poorly presented. It was my birthday, and we received a complimentary dessert. We chose the pavlova, which had a sweet-and-sour flavor, but the passion fruit sauce was far too tart—better suited for a salad dressing than a dessert topping. The service, however, was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, pleasant, and genuinely helpful. The atmosphere was elegant and opulent, but also very loud. I had to raise my voice just to talk to my wife, and by the end of the meal, we couldn’t wait to leave. Overall, this feels like a place for the younger crowd—people in their twenties who are there to take photos, see, and be seen. If you’re looking for a lively spot with good ambiance, this might be for you. But if you’re looking for genuinely good food, look elsewhere. And judging by the other one-star reviews, we’re not alone.
