We were served by who I believe is one of the owners. She was very rude to my parents. My father and I did not yet know what we wanted, so we were discussing the options in front of the menu board, so we could see the menu. The woman then made a big deal of being ignored, going “hello! Hello! I’m invisible to you guys!” My mother attempted to order because she felt bad about the woman behind the counter feeling ignored. Ironically, the woman did not hear her.
After being rushed, we ordered. My father got a sundae and was not informed of an upcharge for whip cream—no big deal that it’s an extra charge, but again, this worker was not great about it. After seeing the charge on the cash register, my father asked if there was an extra charge, and she told him he could read the cash register.
This was not a busy time. We were the only customers in the establishment. I only chose to go here because I have fond memories from my friends working here when we were in high school. Even then, about 6 years ago, the management had a poor reputation, which is why I am inclined to believe that this woman wasn’t a base level hourly worker. I understand some attitude from teenagers, but from an adult, it’s just even more unacceptable.
As far as ice cream goes, it’s Dairy Queen, and I like it, but why would I go here? Be mean to me, but not my parents.

I came here expecting what the reviews said, that it’d be bad and not good, but this is the best dairy queen location I’ve ever been too! Just know some of the kids there can be a little rude but there’s this one worker who I think will give you the best experience every-time, all I know is he had black hair and amazing service.

My family went to this Dairy Queen after a long, rough week hoping for a simple late-night treat. What we got was a complete mess and a waste of money.
I ordered through the app and picked up four Blizzards. When I got home, one was completely wrong. I tried to call the store, but the phone line was disconnected. I drove all the way back with the entire order to show them the mistake. I arrived at 10:55 PM, five minutes before closing. The staff told me they were out of the Superman Blizzard I ordered and had just thrown in a random chocolate one without telling me. No explanation, no heads up, nothing.
This was not just a flavor issue. My daughter, who has special needs, cannot tolerate chocolate ice cream. Their careless substitution left her with nothing while the other three Blizzards sat melting in my car. On top of that, every Blizzard we received was sad with barely any toppings mixed in. The woman I assume was the manager was rude and dismissive, telling me it was too bad since they were closing. She refused to fix anything, and I was stuck with melted, wrong orders and money completely wasted on a ruined family night.
If a store runs out of something, the least they can do is communicate and offer a substitute before handing over the order. Instead, this location decided to deceive me and then act like it was my problem. Between the wrong order, the lack of toppings, the rude service, and the wasted money, this was hands down one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Absolutely unacceptable.
