I liked this store but two weeks ago I saw an employee, Michael, drop poop out of the bottom of his shorts. Only Michael and I saw it. He proceeded to wipe it off the floor with his fingers, wipe his fingers with a paper towel AND GO BACK TO WORK. In a grocery store full of food we all eat and are overpaying for. I mentioned it to Thomas the manager and Anthony the checker. Both good guys and both bothered by what had happened. It was clearly not the first time. I worked for Albertsons in high school and for Trader Joe’s years later. I’m not ignorant to the industry or how these stores function but pooping on the floor has to be a line one cannot cross. Special needs hire or not. Today I was back there and Michael was still busy doing his thing. I don’t want anyone punished or anyone hurt but I simply can’t shop in a grocery store that allows an employee to defecate on the floor and go back to work. How much food have I bought with his feces particles on it? How many carts? There was still a streak on the floor when I left after that first incident. Today I mentioned it to another manager and she said it’s something they’ve had problems with in the past. I can no longer shop here and will go to Fry’s or Safeway. I’m beyond disgusted and can’t believe that’s happening in a first world country.

Not only did they have what I was looking to purchase but I was told that certain items are only available to 'special customers.' You gotta respect the honesty. I had no idea grocery stores dabbled in favoritism. Although let's call it what it is..discrimination.
