Scottsdale is a Spring Break tradition for my teen and her friends and they’ve called dinner at Catch one of their TOP experiences. The food and service were five star! Natalie was amazing … she connected with the girls and made the BEST recommendations when it came to the menu. Definitely recommend the strawberry shortcake and Choco cake desserts!

Catch is truly a 5/5 experience. From the moment you walk in, the friendly hostesses set the tone for a great night, and the bar staff consistently delivers top-tier service with skill and attention to detail. The food is just as impressive—every dish is high quality and consistently excellent. I’ve been a regular here since they opened, and I’ve yet to have anything less than a five-star experience. It’s rare to find a place that delivers this level of consistency, but Catch absolutely does. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great atmosphere, amazing service, and outstanding food.

Catch gets it right from the moment you walk in. The space is beautiful, the energy is vibrant, and the whole experience feels elevated without being pretentious. We stopped in after a movie for a few small plates at the bar and ended up having an exceptional experience. My partner had the Strawberry Spritz and loved it so much she ordered a second to enjoy with the Truffle Sashimi, a match made in heaven, if you ask me. I almost never order a restaurant’s signature Manhattan because I’m picky about bourbon and rye cocktails, but Heather the bartender convinced me to try theirs, and it was phenomenal. Honestly, it changed my opinion. For the next week, I kept catching myself looking for an excuse to go back for another one. The Truffle Sashimi, Wagyu Surf & Turf Roll, and Wagyu Fried Rice were all outstanding, and adding the lobster at the last minute was absolutely the right move. Heather and Reese were warm, polished, and attentive at the bar, and Brian the manager was on another level entirely. He is clearly the kind of leader who sets the standard for the entire restaurant. Gracious, present, and detail oriented, he made a great night feel even more exceptional. Catch absolutely delivers, and we will definitely be back.

My friends and I came into CATCH on Saturday, March 14th for an 8:30 PM reservation. We were a party of six and arrived right on time, as we were celebrating our friend’s birthday and were really looking forward to the evening. When we checked in with the hosts, we were told they were just finishing up our table and that we could grab a drink at the bar while we waited. We ordered cocktails and waited about 20 minutes. The bartender wasn’t particularly friendly, but it was a busy Saturday night so we understood things might be hectic. After those 20 minutes, we moved to the lounge bar to order a second round of drinks. Another 30 minutes passed. At that point, I went back to the host stand just to confirm there hadn’t been a misunderstanding with our reservation. I was told, “We were just coming to get you—give us two seconds.” About 10 minutes later we noticed staff starting to push tables together in the lounge. A hostess eventually came to seat us but didn’t acknowledge that we had been waiting for over an hour past our reservation time. I asked if a manager could come speak with us once we were seated and she said that wouldn’t be a problem. A few minutes later she returned and said, “We’re still going to be really nice to you—we just wanted to offer you a table in the dining room instead of the lounge.” We declined, as at that point we simply wanted to start our dinner. A manager eventually came by, apologized, and offered to send over appetizers on the house. Edamame and yellowtail were brought out—roughly $50 worth of food—which felt like a minimal response given that our reservation had effectively been delayed by an hour. Our server was nice and the food itself was good. However, during dinner we also saw the same manager sit down at a nearby table with friends and send out numerous comped menu items for them while enjoying the evening. Unfortunately, that was difficult to watch given the circumstances—especially since everyone in our group works in fine dining and understands what good hospitality looks like. Our bill ended up being over $600, and honestly we likely would have spent at least double that if the overall experience had felt more thoughtful and attentive. Unfortunately, the evening felt disorganized and dismissive toward the end of the night. For a restaurant operating at this level, we expected a much higher standard of service. For now, I don’t plan on returning.
