- BBBrianNov 28, 20251.0I ordered a $6.99 foot long turkey and ham sub. As it was being made I was told “ you can only have 3 toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion etc) on this sub since it is specially priced “. WHAT??????? This is the exact reason my family and I stopped eating out. Did a private equity firm buy out Subway, or is this just greed on part of the franchisee? Subway is by far the worst sub shop, the meat appears to be pressed, it’s nasty, but i was starving so I went in there. I haven’t ate in a Subway in years! Those toppings cost mere pennies, now my family and coworkers won’t be eating in there … ever. This won’t put that particular Subway out of business, but they will lose money over this incident. Welcome to 2025, we vote with our wallets.
