Just needed to buy some milk, happened to find two other items I wanted including a clearance item. Score! Unfortunately, the clearance item was not showing the discounted price. I scan the kiosk to see if there was a help button. Nope not one that was showing or ar least obvious to me. So I asked the three Cashiers at the end of self check out for help. They didn't hear me. So I raised my voice a little more, still was not heard so I had to yell, " May I have some help here." Finally heard but was given the biggest attitude from the cashier. Saying she didn't see the light, I said yes because it's not an issue that would normally trigger the help needed. Continued to point out that there was a button, I explain that there was not one showing and thanked them for their help. Im not expecting red carpet service I promise you but maybe drop the attitude when you were not the one listening, back turned and talking about non work related things. People are allowed to have fun and be human at work completely but please keep an ear or eye out for customers if your doing so. Reading the reviews, sounds like this isn't the only time nor first this cashier has been like this. Hope things turn out OK for them.

- BSBarry L SalterOct 21, 20254.0Safeway is our favorite store to shop. Walmart may be cheaper on some items but Walmart does not contribute to the food bank. Safeway is very generous and that motivates us to buy there. The cashiers are friendly but I cannot give five stars because they have put in self-serve and they can see most customers don't want self-serve some do but most of us are elderly and don't want self-serve. Self-serve is a huge take away from service. To asure getting good prices, you must spend time on a computer in the for U app and again this is a negative as most are elderly and have difficulty doing this. However unlike Walmart produce is good and the meat department meats are good. So if you come up to visit lakeside don't bother with Walmart in show low go to Safeway in lakeside for better quality products.
