  Went here with some friends and the service was impeccable and the atmosphere is fun. Food was exceptional. Definitely worth the experience.

  We went here for my birthday brunch and it was excellent. Excellent, attentive service, and the food was fantastic. Especially recommend the banana old fashion, the Japanese French toast, and the Pyro Caesar. The crowning moment was the ube panna cotta which had coconut tapioca, ube custard, and mango lassi sorbet. I would go back just for this. The ambience was lovely with a lot of Asian influence and cute pachinko machines set into the wall in the hallway on the way to the bathrooms. Appreciate the wood block prints in tge single stall units. Overall great experience and will be back!

  They burned sichuan peppercorns and everyone, including the staff was coughing. There was no apology, everyone’s eyes were burning and the entire place smelled foul. It ruined the taste of not only our food but drinks and dessert too.

  A huge disappointment for our birthday celebration. We were looking forward to sophisticated, cutting edge fusion. But all the effort here has gone into marketing and scripted presentations; the food is just an afterthought. The salad was the only thing we liked. The tuna tataki and yellowtail sashimi were overwhelmed by too much sauce. The allegedly spicy tuna was super bland. All the grilled meats (filet, NY strip, lamb) were way oversalted. The fried rice was wet. And the roasted mushrooms were lacking promised bacon or any flavor at all. They offered us free dessert, but we passed – who needs another disappointment? Service was mostly efficient but scripted and insincere. At nearly $600 for four (with no alcohol) the pricing was totally out of whack. You literally could not pay any one of us to return.

  Overall nice trendy spot to go on a date night with pretty good food. The service leaves you wanting more but after seeing the manager interacting with his employees it tells the story. We witnessed the manager talking down to his bus boys with such arrogance. The manager is the definition of someone who believes holding people accountable means you don't need empathy. I feel bad for the employees working at this very nice upscale location willing to deal with this gentleman's ego. I can't be mad at the waitress we had seeing as her leader sets zero example of workspace etiquette or professionalism. Leave your ego at the door being a manager is easy it's takes leadership to inspire and that completely lacks at this restaurant.
