  I usually like this chain, but I'm really disappointed with my meal tonight. I ordered the Kung Pao chicken at the Phoenix McDowell location and the chicken was totally rubbery, almost like it had been partially cooked then microwaved too long, making it inedible. Not the quality I expect from this place. Had a better food experience in the Chandler location.

  Guadalupe is the best! And the food is great too…. I’m so pleased she’s at this location as she had provided the best service when I used to eat at the Peoria Ave location. She remembered me from many years ago! Since I live in Northern Arizona, unfortunately I’m not able to get to Phoenix and Pei Wei as often as I would like to…..

  There was a funky smell when we arrived. Should've just left then. The smell was actually coming frm the mandarin green tea. The lid was off and it seemed spoiled. Staff was nice. Green beans were drowning in sauce. Too much soy sauce so everything was super salty. Just the deep fried shrimp with the noodles was good. The lettuce/chicken wrap, half the lettuce was brown n old n the chicken mixture was VERY bland. That's probably why the sauce for it was super salty. Probably won't be coming back anytime soon.

  One of the nicer Pei Wei restaurants. Nice brick building, gives it a rustic look. Great service! The bowl of Kung Pow Shrimp with Shrimp Fried Rice was Delicious, NOT dry and clumpy! Wow! Great tasting, I was full but still wanted to go and get a second bowl!!!

  Stopped by the Pei Wei on 7th Ave & McDowell and honestly had such a good experience. Lupe helped us out and she was seriously so kind and quick. You know when someone just has a good vibe and actually cares? That was her. She made everything super easy and smooth, even though it seemed pretty busy. The food came out fast and it was really good—fresh, hot, and full of flavor. It was so good we ended up grabbing some desserts to go (those fortune cookies dipped in chocolate with sprinkles… yeah, definitely recommend 😄). Everything just felt easy and welcoming. Good service like that really stands out. We’ll for sure be coming back.
