I was going to buy 2 meals, the bill came out to $60. I added extra items that probably shouldn’t have gone more than $3. But I stopped coming after that. I left when the cashier told me the total.

My boyfriend’s Panera Bread's experience was severely damaged by the conduct of the general manager, Kim. Rather than addressing a simple order issue professionally, Kim chose to argue with customers and belittle them, creating an uncomfortable atmosphere. Her behavior extended to intimidating staff members, which is unacceptable in any customer service environment. This kind of management approach not only fails to resolve problems but also damages the reputation of the establishment and discourages both customers and employees from returning. Effective leadership requires patience, respect, and problem solving skills qualities that were clearly lacking in this situation.

Pulled up to the window after ordering my food. Young lady was at the when I reached the window I began to get my phone ready to pay with my iPhone. The girl opened the window said nothing and stared at me. I said hello and she did not respond. Closed the window and then opened it to give me my drink. Said nothing and then opened the window again and asked me to pull around. ONLY THING SHE SAID TO ME. When my food was brought to me by a tall young man. He said nothing as I said Thank you. He did not even respond. Panera. Think twice about hiring young individuals that aren’t able to deliver adequate customer service. Saturday afternoon shift 4:20pm Not going back here! They didn’t offer chips with my sandwich or with my soup bowl. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am honestly so disappointed and upset after visiting this Panera location. I have always thought of Panera as a warm and friendly place to sit and have brunch with friends, but this visit felt like the complete opposite. Where do I even begin… What bothered me the most was the way management treated the employees. An older Asian lady manager was yelling at her (no older than high-school age) employees right in front of customers. It was not a quiet correction, it was loud, harsh, and embarrassing. Watching young workers be spoken to like that was very uncomfortable and honestly sad. No one deserves to be treated that way, especially teenagers who are just trying to do their jobs. It made the whole place feel tense and awkward, and it was hard to enjoy being there. The pickup process was also confusing and poorly handled. My order was marked ready for Rapid Pick Up and was supposed to be waiting for me on the shelf inside to just grab and go without having to bother any employees, but no one was actually using that system. Instead, there was a long line of people waiting at the counter to get their food while completed orders just sat in the kitchen. It felt unorganized and frustrating. On top of that, the service was very slow. We waited much longer than we should have, even though the restaurant did not seem very busy. To make it worse, when it was time for an employee to hand me my bag, she tossed it across the counter without saying anything. There was no thank you, no apology, nothing. It felt rude and careless. When we finally got our food, items were missing from the order. Items that we paid EXTRA for. Having to go back to the counter and wait again after already waiting so long was annoying and tiring. Between the yelling from management, the slow service, the messy pickup system, and the missing food, the whole visit felt stressful and badly run. I hope this location makes changes, because no customer or employee should have to deal with that kind of experience.
