Enjoyed take-away bagels a few times from NYBB, decided to explore the dine-in options. Started strong with great service and gooD coffee. Extra points for the Cold Brew which was served in fun & interesting combinations. The Hot Chocolate was served with a weird/gross tasting whipped cream, the drink itself was good tho. The breakfast items were a bit weak. The Everything Bagel with Lox Schmeer tasted day old, missing the snap of roasted garlic and salt. Schmeer was fine, nothing special. Biscuits and Gravy had good flavor and biscuits were tasty. The "Home Fries" were French fried and not all that crispy, making them taste greasy. Breakfast Burrito had promise with a great foundation of eggs and fresh tortilla. The sauces (ordered on the side) were great. A mild green chilli sauce or optional cheese sauce, both were delicious. Had to take the rating for atmosphere down a full point due to the sewer smell in the restroom. So bad we had to "hold our nose." Please address this NYBB!

Finally, a solid NYC bagel in PHX! Even though the price is a bit high and Taylor ham is a mystery to them, the staff is so kind and welcoming.

I ordered a lox bagel sandwich and asked for a thick smear, double lox, and cut in half. This is how it came: an open-faced mess. I had to make my own sandwich when I got home with a box of ingredients. It is dark as a cave inside this shop. Cashier was dancing with her eyes closed as I approached the register; would like to see prompt service with a smile. Go to Chompie’s just up the street.
