Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Numerous customers reported long wait times, incorrect orders, and poor customer service experiences, particularly in the drive-thru.
Food Quality
Several reviews mentioned cold or poorly prepared food, including stale buns and overcooked items, leading to dissatisfaction.
Staff Performance

Cleanliness
The restaurant was noted for being clean and well-maintained, which was appreciated by many customers.
Order Accuracy
A significant number of customers experienced issues with their orders being incorrect or incomplete.

SYLVIA WAS HER NAME.
My coworkers and I decided on Whataburger for lunch. We ordered the box. When I arrived to pick it up I was greeted by the cashier who then alerted the manager I was there to pick it up. I witnessed the manager involved and helping her team pack orders. She promptly walked out with my box and introduced herself and then eve offered to walk the box out to the car as I had other bags in my hand. I was very taken back by the customer service I received today. Everyone was in good spirits and it makes it so much better when you can walk into an establishment and not feel like you are a bother which seems common these days lately. Thank you so much Sylvia and team. We will be back here for more lunches.

Come here if you want cold pre-cooked hamburgers, stale fries and half full onion ring containers. The funny thing is. If you drive by this location at 5:00pm on Monday through Friday. You will see that the drive-thru is empty. While Cane's Chicken is full out to the street because they make the food to order. I am the biggest Whataburger fan in the world. I was so excited when they open this location. The food here sucks. Coldest Whataburger I have ever had in my entire life. And I have been eating Whataburger for like 30 years now all over the valley. I mean I paid $5 plus for the large Onion rings. Large onions at the grocery store are like 3 lbs for a dollar. They couldn't even put more than like 5 onion rings in the box large box? They didn't even fill it halfway? Hamburger had clearly been sitting around. I knew something was up when my order came out in less than a minute. Shame on you Whataburger. Shame on you. I hope your company goes out of business because of loser locations like this. Zero training. Total greed. Not looking to make a good meal for people.

Stopped in to grab breakfast to go and was pretty annoyed to find no utensils included. This is breakfast food - not finger food. Obviously utensils are needed. It’s a small detail, but it matters when you’re eating on the go. Please do better with the basics.

I come to this store each weekend and the young man can never get my order right with in three weeks, I’m a big supporter in having the handicap in the workforce. It’s shameful that a manager will put such pressure on one to work the drive through!
