Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

First I want to say khiley was amazing! She was professional, courteous, & attentive to all customer needs in the lobby. She took orders, mopped floors, & took orders out for pick up! She basically manned the whole ship! She is Exemplary employee! Oh & that patty melt was bomb! Thanks to Khiley I got it as single instead of double!

Tried the Monterey Melt based on a friend's referral. It was just so-so. Hate the taste of the fries. But the counter person was exceptionally great with customer service beyond any other fast food eatery I've been to.

This Whataburger visit was exactly what I was hoping for and more. I stopped in for a quick bite and was happy to see the drive-thru moving fast with no wait. Right away, the cashier greeted me in a friendly, upbeat way, which made the experience feel easy and welcoming from the start.
I ordered a classic Whataburger, and you can really tell the difference with the food here. The burger was big, filling, and tasted like real beef straight from the kitchen—not something rushed or reheated. The patty was juicy, flavorful, and clearly made fresh. The bun held everything together without falling apart However bread quality could have been better. The portion size alone made it feel like I definitely got my money’s worth.
I also added a chicken item, and it didn’t disappoint either. The chicken tasted fresh, not overly processed, with a good texture and solid seasoning. It felt like actual kitchen-made food rather than typical fast-food quality, which is something I really appreciate.
When I got to the window, the cashier was just as friendly, asking how my day was going and keeping the interaction light and pleasant. That kind of casual conversation goes a long way and makes the stop feel more personal instead of rushed.
Inside the restaurant was clean, organized, and comfortable. The staff seemed to work well together, and everything ran smoothly. Overall, this was one of those fast-food stops that doesn’t feel like fast food.
If you’re looking for a place with generous portion sizes, burgers that actually taste like real beef, and chicken that feels fresh from the kitchen, this Whataburger delivers. I’d definitely come back when I want something filling, flavorful, and served with a smile.

Ricardo is truly the best there is. He assisted me with my order in an exceptionally professional manner, demonstrating outstanding knowledge, patience, and attention to detail. His positive attitude made the entire experience seamless and enjoyable, and his light, comical touch was a refreshing bonus—something we all need now and then. Ricardo went above and beyond, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the level of service he provided. Highly recommended.
