It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Whataburger more like whatajoke. Really, this is what you call a burger. I generally come here for a double green chili burger which always is a hit. I decide to try something new and this is what I get??? NEVER AGAIN! I didn't realize I would be paying money for just bread. All I tasted was bread mustard lettuce and onions.

a bizzare experience. After flying in from another state, we stopped at whataburger and a surreal experience it was. inside this establishment, i did not feel like a physical being, almost as if i had disassociated. I wouldn’t come back for the food but I would come back to work there, the staff are super chill and a relaxing to be around so it overall i can’t complain for a late night stop.

I love the food and most of the staff there are pretty cool but not all of them. Overall everything is very clean there. I like it.
