I have never left a review before but this was a particularly terrible experience. I still wouldn’t have left a review, but I just got a targeted ad for sonic on Instagram, and that just felt too rude. I ordered a double cheese burger without onion, a mini milkshake, and a sprite without ice. After sitting in the drive through for 15 minutes, someone finally comes out with my order. I asked to confirm that there were no onions on the burger. The employee stated that it doesn’t come with onion, despite there being onion in the picture on the drive through menu. Also, there are no mobile card readers, so the employee has to come outside with my food, confirm that I’m the one who ordered it, then take my card, and the entire order, back inside again before finally coming back out. Sure enough, when I got home, every single element of my order was wrong: the burger had onion, the drink had ice, and the milkshake was the wrong size. I don’t expect anything to change but screaming into the void of the internet feels cathartic.
