I stop in here every one in a while since it is close to my house. The store is always clean and the staff is kind.
I was over the moon excited when I went to get milk from the daily aisle and I saw my favorite drink! AZ Lemonade Stand! They also had a new ducle enchilados candy with a bunch of different flavors from a brand called AZ Candy Stand. I tried every kind and they were all the best!
So happy to know I can stop here to get the best Lemonade now!

The employees are so rude and the fried chicken wings are always stale and gross never fresh. So disappointing

Typically, I go to Fry's, which is closer and has good prices. Yet Safeway has more customized items which was my intent on this trip.

I came to Safeway specifically because tri-tip was on sale, cheaper than every other store nearby. When I got to the meat counter, there was only one tri-tip left — a massive 6-lb cut. I asked the butcher if there were any smaller ones. He said no, not until tomorrow. I then asked if he could cut the one in the case in half.
His response was rude and dismissive: “No. It says whole tri-tip. You have to buy the whole thing.” Fine. I agreed to buy the whole thing and simply asked if he could cut it in half for me anyway. He reluctantly agreed, rolling his eyes like I was inconveniencing him by asking him to do his job.
When I got to checkout, I noticed I was being charged full price — not the sale price advertised. The butcher had intentionally removed the sale sticker from the package, which resulted in about a $15 difference. I pointed it out to the cashier, who immediately fixed it and even said she noticed the sale tag had been removed.
Thank you to the cashier for correcting it. But if I hadn’t been paying attention, I would’ve been overcharged — deliberately.
This happened Saturday, December 13th, around 5:15 PM. That butcher was unfriendly, shady, and unprofessional. Absolutely unacceptable behavior, and exactly the kind of experience that makes people stop shopping somewhere altogether.

Just checked out with Shoshanna and she was so helpful. Told her what I was looking for and she called Eve to help. They were super busy with the holiday shoppers. Eve was so kind. Told me to stay put she'd go check. She checked the shelves, end caps and the computer stock. Didn't find what I was looking for--seasonal ice cream flavors. Couldn't have asked for nicer, more accomodating clerk/cashier. Thank you ladies! Have always loved the staff at this location.
