This place is something else. Yes, the week before Thanksgiving but they're in a prime time on the weekend is when the staff decided to stock the shells. I'm talking about EVERYONE seemed to be stocking the shelves at the same time. There were vendors there stocking their products and there were Safeway employees also stocking their product with tons of their carts in the middle of the only open areas/aisles in the store. It was impossible to get around them and the aggravated customers at the same time. Also in the way that seem like they were doing Sunday strolling and being rude there as well. I'm not sure if this is just the type of behavior that is acceptable with staff and that's why the customers are the same way but this is just not the way to do business. There were also some younger staff members there that were quite rude and trying to push you out of the way as they swept or wanting to get down aisles by cutting you off with their carts. I could not believe the unprofessionalism this staff had by not saying excuse me or anything, just rushing there way past you. Then we go to the butcher that placed some meat down on the racks. However, when we kept trying to get the gentleman's attention (he was right next to us), he just turned his back and purposely ignored us and continued on to the back. Then we had to go and ask at the butcher counter for some ribeye. However, he ended up giving us a different type of meat which was not what we asked for. I wonder about the knowledge this staff actually has in doing their jobs and helping the customer experience. I'd have to give my first experience here. Two thumbs down. The only perks were the great prices going on and was the cashier that made sure we were happy and took care of our needs. I will definitely never shop here again as this is not a Safeway standard nor a decent grocery store standard.

I have the same routine for over a year. I put all my money on my card and get my money orders from Safeway. Same card every month for over a year. Today I worked double time then my side job to come up with all my rent money that was due by 4pm . Or I'll have court fees. I live 1 mile away from this store. I go inside the guy Robert at customer service walks away from the customer service area . It was no one in line at all. Red flag one. So I told him when he got back I needed Money orders. He told me they don't accept my card. Without looking at if. And if he did why would he be looking at my card anyway. I insert it myself?? Red flag 2. So he tells me I can't use my card. I almost had a panic attack. Like why I use this card 2 times a month. I was so hurt I didn't have time to go anywhere else and get the money off my card . And the atmosphere wasn't working. I called 4 other stores and asked the policy.. they all said I should've been fine as long as it was a physical card that I can insert or swipe. I'm also a shopper so I get orders from this store like 3-4 times daily. Thanks Robert and Marie who cosigned for the 300 fee I now have to pay for being late.
