- BABella AlcocerDec 23, 20251.0Went in on 12/23/25 at 6:20pm went to the meat department one guy working back there a lady got to him before me and she must not have noticed but he wiped his hands on his legs and proceeds to handle her meat with bare hands I was in disbelief so I asked him for chorizo just to see if he would do the same wish is ground pork with Spanish seasoning and he proceeded to grab my meat with his bare hands as well he went from beef to pork that’s cross contamination then he goes out to putting meat on the service floor I took the meat to the supervisor on the front end told him what happened he seemed stunned I didn’t get not one apology he took the meat he did talk to another employee about it appeared to be a bagger and a cashier and that was the end of that I don’t think i will be shopping here anymore this place is disgusting

They have all the products in stock. Wonderful sales overall I just love Safeway. The location I will admit is a little questionable being that there is a lot of homeless people in this area of town but they don't mess with you and it's nothing scary. They don't have weapons or anything like that. Just be sure you go during the day and you'll be 100% A-Okay.
