This is the Panera in Terminal 4, near gate C14. The line at Zinc Brasserie was ridiculous, and i would say for a basic cup of black coffee, Panera Bread’s is probably better... i used the order kiosk, and i had my coffee in hand within 3 minutes... I think every airport terminal should have a Panera, not because it's anything special, but because it's consistent. Panera Bread’s coffee is way more consistent than it looks. The beans are 100% Arabica Rain Force Certified, and Panera actually switched to certified beans back in the 2000s, way before most major chains. Their brewers use timed clips that force staff to dump every batch at 60 minutes, which is why Panera’s coffee is almost always fresher than typical restaurant drip. The light roast is blended to stay stable in Air-Pots (the big metal decanter they use to keep the coffee hot) without turning bitter, and the dark roast uses naturally low-acid Brazilian beans for that smooth, easy sip. It’s not fancy, but it’s cleaner, fresher, and more thoughtfully sourced than most people realize...

They don’t have hot sandwiches or soups because they decided to turn off their ovens early. Hour and half early..

i waited 20 minutes when it wasnt busy for just a half of a grilled cheese and small soup. only to find that they gave my order away to someone else. when i repeatedly asked for my order i was asked 5 separate times by the same 2 people what i got. 10 minutes more went by and i asked for a refund they asked me again what i ordered, the people in the kitchen said they already made it with an attitude.

I opened the other half and there was 3 slivers. Oh I MEAN SLIVERS. SERVICE WAS QUICK....MAYBE BECAUSE THEY FORGOT TO MAKE THE SANDWICH AND GAVE ME THE BREAD ONLY. SHAME ON U FOR THIS.

The manager a Latin woman, with her other female employees all expressed discomfort and frustration with having to work. All but one individual who was happy to do her job. Being yelled at by the manager after being told that they would be open by 4am. We waited, she complained; stated openly that she didn’t have the register opened yet or counted. She and her crew (minus the one awesome soul) All hated being there. At least the food was made well and such but so much for a “friendly airport” when those individuals clearly and openly do not like their job. I get it. It’s annoying to do your job at 4 AM in the morning, especially with food and cranky tired individuals. But that is no way to speak to your customers
