Great food and drinks… if you eat there that is. They’re on Uber Eats yet my last 4 orders they’ve forgotten items and add ons for the orders. Get your process down for delivery services or just get off them. Could make for a terrible first impression on a otherwise great restaurant

I would like to preface this review by saying that my negative experience was purely with a security guard who had green dreads. However, this interaction was completely unacceptable, especially after disclosing that I am physically disabled.
The security guard at Palma claimed to have gotten a call from Ghost Donkey stating that I was drunk and to not let me in. This is when I proceeded to disclose that I am disabled. He didn’t care and acted extremely discriminatory towards me.
Thankfully, I have wonderful friends who stood up for me, and the manager and security at Ghost Donkey made it right. If it weren’t for my friends and the Ghost Donkey staff, I would’ve been denied entry.
He never apologized or anything. I am appalled by his behavior, and I hope he learns from his actions.

As out-of-towners looking for a great night out, Palma did not disappoint. We travel often to New York and Massachusetts (we live in CT), so our standards are high—and this place absolutely met them. Our server, Odette, was a 20/10. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and her recommendations were spot on. She checked in with us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed. Even though we were wrapped up in conversation, we truly appreciated her attentiveness—without her, we might have missed out on a lot.
The atmosphere was perfect: a cool evening with the fireplaces going made it feel warm and inviting. The food was excellent overall. The only thing that didn’t hit the mark for us were the crab rangoons (we’re New Englanders and take our rangoons seriously), but the Banh Mi sandwich and sushi were outstanding.
We would absolutely recommend this spot and hope to return if we’re ever back in the area.
I have been wanting to visit Palma for at least six months, but as a busy single mother with limited income, I’ve had to put it off. I knew it was a pricier spot and that dealing with the parking and walking in this area is a hassle, but I finally decided to treat myself and brought someone along. It is truly sad that after waiting that long, the experience was so underwhelming.
The Service:
The service was the definition of "vanilla." To be fair, the hostess did put in the effort to find us a spot by the fire and cleaned off a table for us. She wasn’t rude, but there was zero gumption or true hospitality—no smile or "happy to be here" energy.
Despite the fact that I was clearly in a tube top and it was nippy out, neither the hostess nor our server ever asked if we were staying warm or if we were okay with our comfort. They never offered to turn on additional heaters, even though we saw the table next to us had a much larger fire giving off a lot more heat. Our waiter was a 6/10; he "maintained" the table but didn’t engage. Even by 10:00 p.m., as people were still arriving and being seated, the staff wasn't creating any kind of vibe. They were just processing people like a check-in line. When the team lacks that spark, the atmosphere feels flat, and I found myself feeling bored after 45 minutes.
The Food:
Sushi Nacho Appetizer: Very delicious, though it needed more aioli.
Picante M Roll: An 8/10 and the only dish that lived up to the hype.
Shrimp Tacos: A 6/10 at best. The tortilla alone was a 2/10—completely tasteless. The whole plate needed more "soul" and more drizzle. It gave me no fulfillment, just boredom in my mouth. We didn't even eat the third taco because it just was not IT. Honestly, if you want a truly good local shrimp taco, visit The Beach House and order their Chipotle version—they are literally less than half the price and far superior in flavor.
The Vibe:
The aesthetics are 100% on point. The lighting is beautiful and the layout is fantastic, with many areas to sit comfortably. It is a gorgeous space, which makes it even more disappointing that the "soul" of the service and the quality of the food don’t match the decor.
Overall:
When you save up limited time and money for a special night, you expect a team that wants to make the experience feel worth it. At Palma, I felt like just another number in a check-in line. It's a beautiful place to look at, but the hospitality is lacking.

Our older daughter selected this venue. Was not what we expected. However, the hostess, manager, and our waitress made our 1st time a memorable one. Accommodated our 16 group party with practically our own area. Food was good, this would have been a far better spot if we did not have the children with us, despite that, it was still worthy of my 5 stars. Now, the trip to the restroom has an adventure waiting and parking will b a challenge for sure. My Phoenix metro has turned into a California style pay for parking everywhere now and is rather sad to see.
