The ambiance is very comfortable, though the portions are a bit small. The fish is of excellent quality. I appreciate that you can choose both the marinade and the sauce. It's great that the sauce is served on the side instead of being poured over the food. The drinks are also nice !

Came here with for a birthday celebration. After paying the bill (food and drinks $140) and adding tip ($28) I received a credit card notification that a charge of $55 was put through on my card. Turns out that Flint charges a 20% service fee automatically. NO WHERE WAS THIS DISCLOSED… not on the bill/receipt, not on the menu and certainly not by the waitress. I called the restaurant immediately, spoke to the manager Brady, who assured me the charge would be removed. When I asked why it wasn’t disclosed, he muttered something about it being in small print on the menu. What’s even more ridiculous is that he never removed the charge and I’m now having to dispute this with my credit card company. Avoid giving places like this your business.

Went to celebrate our anniversary, used to be one of our favorite spots but will not be returning. The quality of food has gone down severely. The Moroccan chicken came out tasting of old burnt fryer oil, the $92 ribeye steak came out very very rare when ordered medium and almost 75% of the steak was fat. Very disappointing for a steak that price. The warm donuts were doughy and raw still, we used to get the toasted sesame tart and it came as a whole mini round tart. Now you get a small slice of a tart that is only 4 small bites. Even after having three major dining experience mess ups, the manager never once came around to check in. She walked upstairs and delivered food to other guests but never once came by and apologized for the mis ordered meatballs when ordered the lamb cavatelli, way undercooked steak, or doughy doughnuts. Only the young female working upstairs seemed to care about the guests coming in. She seemed to be on her own, the male bartender kept disappearing and servers running food didn’t know where food was going. Two times our food was almost given away to someone else.

Such great atmosphere here! First timer, coming in for a birthday dinner and the moment we walked in we were greeted politely by a young lady (that is my top thing I look for). Felt welcomed and well taken care of. Our server, Eric, was amazing from start to finish. Couldn’t have asked for a better server! He took care of us throughout the night and made a sure everything was great. Thank you so much for having us! Will be back for these delicious drinks 🍸

Flint by Baltaire is a striking example of a restaurant whose online presence bears almost no resemblance to the actual experience. Based on the website, photos, and even many of the reviews, one expects a refined, thoughtfully designed dining experience with strong cocktails, careful plating, and a sense of intention. What we encountered instead felt closer to a generic hotel restaurant—tired, impersonal, and oddly squalid—clearly geared toward expense-account business dinners rather than diners who care about food. The prices are extremely high for what is served. Portions are surprisingly small and unattractive, with plating that feels careless and uninspired. There was no sense of craft or pride in the presentation. The Wagyu hanger steak, in particular, was deeply concerning in flavor and freshness, to the point that it was difficult to eat. I will simply say it tasted profoundly wrong. Even basic details were missing—no salt and pepper on the table, for example—small things that signal a lack of attention. The cocktails were genuinely awful; among the worst I’ve had anywhere, especially shocking given how beautiful they appear in photos. Whatever is happening behind the bar does not match the visual promise. The one bright spot of the evening was our server, who was genuinely kind and attentive, and the pizza. I’m Italian, and while the pizza was not remarkable, it was decent and clearly benefited from the wood-fired oven. It was the only dish that felt competently executed. Overall, this was a major disappointment. Flint presents itself as something it simply is not. The gap between expectation and reality is vast, and for the prices charged, the experience is unacceptable. I would not return !
