Hello Dave & Buster’s Guest Relations Team,
I’m writing to share feedback regarding our experience tonight during the Super Bowl Unlimited Wings & Games promotion.
We purchased three $25 packages in advance — for myself, my 19-year-old daughter Summer, and her boyfriend Andrew — specifically to watch the Super Bowl and enjoy the food and gaming experience.
To start, I was disappointed with the ticket purchasing process. Buying in advance required using a third-party service that added an additional $5 per ticket (a 20% surcharge) without providing any added value. This also required downloading another app to my phone and resulted in follow-up emails from that service, which I had no interest in receiving. That experience alone felt unnecessary and frustrating.
Once we arrived, I expected the venue to be extremely busy due to the promotion, but it really wasn’t. Despite that, it felt like the staff was stretched thin. Our server was friendly, but very difficult to get a hold of for drink refills and additional wing orders.
Our first round of wings for all three of us arrived cold. To your team’s credit, they did bring out more wings, but we were left without napkins or silverware, and overall it was consistently difficult to get service, soda refills, or additional wings throughout the evening.
The biggest disappointment, however, was the gaming portion of the promotion. I understood going in that some attractions would be excluded (for example, premium experiences like laser tag). What I did not expect was that the vast majority of games would be unavailable.
After going upstairs to use the gaming passes, I was told by an employee that only machines with blue-colored card readers were eligible for the promotion. I attempted to swipe at approximately 10–15 different games, none of which worked, before eventually giving up. If I had to estimate, only about 10% of the games appeared usable with this promotion. As a result, I personally received zero value from the gaming portion of the package.
I haven’t been to Dave & Buster’s in many years. My dad used to take my older daughters when they were younger, and I remember it being quite expensive. This promotion felt like a good opportunity to give it another try — unfortunately, the experience overall was pretty disappointing, and I’m not confident I would return based on this visit.
I’m not sure whether a refund, partial refund, or some other form of resolution is possible, but I did want to relay this feedback so you’re aware of how the promotion was experienced from a guest’s perspective.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. I am truly sorry to hear that our Super Bowl celebration did not meet your expectations. This event is important to us, and so is your satisfaction. We never want a guest to leave feeling disappointed, especially on a day meant for fun and celebration.
