I said, “Moe, I’m ready,” meaning that our order was complete since she is my niece and I knew what she wanted. Moe responded rudely by saying, “Well, I’m not ready.” I told him, “Don’t talk to me like that.” He then replied, “I will talk to you however I want.” Moe proceeded to place my niece’s taco in the bag and then asked her if she wanted chips and salsa, despite knowing that we were together and had already declined. She again said, “No, thank you.” I asked Moe if he was having a bad day. He replied, “Happy New Year,” and shoved the food toward me without completing the payment process. Both my niece and I were taken aback by his tone and behavior. His conduct was rude, aggressive, and unprofessional, and it made what should have been a simple lunch experience very uncomfortable.
