The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. People may disagree on whether it's the thick crust with its light, flakey texture, which almost melts in your mouth, or the wonderful spiced sauce that is the secret of this great tasting pizza. Barro’s Pizza also provides wings, salads, sandwiches, pastas, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.
Many customers praised the pizza for being delicious and fresh, with some highlighting specific items like gluten-free options and the quality of ingredients.

Tried it out couple times and it was Ok. I put in a order at 12pm to be ready for 430. Go and pickup & pay and young blonde girl say 15-20 min.Ok so 15 min goes by and I ask r we ready? She says no we dont have that order in our system, sorry. Ok cancel it refund my money.I had guest waiting at my house. Listen people im from Chicago and pizza is culture and the customer service was horrendous. Save ur time & money AND better pizza in my opinion Veros or Spinatos and order from there. Just a horrible experience

This restaurant gets an F when it comes to cleanliness. Every single table in the dining area was filthy including the restrooms, and play area. Employees simply removed the dirty dishes from tables and didn’t bother wiping them down. We noticed that when the manager asked the employees to please wipe the tables down and straighten up the dining area, the employees got angry and gave the manager and customers attitude. Seriously, disgusting. Customers were complaining that TVs were off and not broadcasting the night’s games and it didn’t seem like anyone knew how to work the TVs. It is unfortunate, because it seems as though the owners/upper management have decided to give up on this location.

I used to like this place, but during my last visit the parmesan cheese smelled outrageous and seemed to be molding. I informed an employee and they showed no concern and simply walked away. Even though I didn’t eat it, the lack of response to a food safety issue was unacceptable. I was at the very back table in the back they probably don’t even clean back there ..

I ordered a pizza for delivery and it was delivered to the wrong apartment complex ~10 min away--it wasn't even in the same zip code. The person it was delivered to called me to come get it or else I would have had no idea. After picking it up and getting it home it looked ridiculous. I ordered extra sauce so I guess that's on me but didn't know I had to order it with cheese on top not thrown to the side. It was cold and hard by the time I got it so it must have happened on the initial delivery.
Pro tips: Don't give them the luxury to leave your food at the door, have them hand it to you. Don't preemptively tip, do it upon receiving (what a waste of a 20% tip). Probably choose a different Barro's or a different pizza joint all together. Womp womp.
