- CLChelsea LodgeMar 17, 20265.0Wow! What a pleasant surprise. We happened to stop by City Of Spice randomly this Monday evening and we are so glad we did. The place was packed which was instantly a very good sign. They still were able to seat us right away. The spicy aromas made our mouths water. After a couple menu tips from our heplful sever, we ordered the chicken butter masala curry and the beef josh rogan curry, and can't forget the naan! Both curries were incredibly flavorful, had a nice kick, and tender, perfectly cooked proteins. The rice was deliciously spiced with hints of cardamom. Garlic naan was both crispy and fluffy with the perfect amount of garlic. The service was outstanding! We felt like family. Every person working was so friendly and met us with a smile. The owner came by and chatted with us for a while and that made it clear why this place is as great as it is! All family owned. His brother and son were also working. I wish I could remember his name because he was really great! We left knowing that we'd be back later this week to try more of their delicious food and support such an amazing family owned restaurant. Okay I gotta go, the leftovers in the fridge need my attention 😉 Now go check this place out!!!
