Unfortunately, there was an excessive amount of Nutella—large chunks of it—so I asked if I could receive a partial refund. I was told the refund would be processed back to my card within 5–10 business days. This was on September 30th. I waited, and by mid-October, I still hadn’t received anything. I went back and spoke with a staff member who assured me she would take care of it. I waited patiently, but the store became busy and I eventually needed to leave for an appointment. I asked if I could leave my phone number so she could call or text me once it was handled. She agreed, and I thanked her. A week passed with no update, so I called again and was told to leave my number again. I did—and still received no follow-up. It is now November, and not only have I still not received the refund, but I have not received any communication from the store. At this point, it’s less about the money and more about the lack of communication and follow-through.
