Our server, Kimberly (last initial R.), was rude and oddly aggressive from the start. She repeatedly pushed us to order extra sides and drinks even after we clearly said we only wanted steak and a salad. It felt less like hospitality and more like constant pressure to spend more money.
Other tables celebrating special occasions were immediately acknowledged and offered champagne, but we received no warmth or recognition at all. A single card was left on the table, and that was it — no gift card, no options, no appreciation for visiting, despite spending over $250.
We were seated at a table directly behind the reception desk, next to the entrance gate where guests were constantly walking by, which felt especially inconsiderate for a birthday reservation.
At one point, while my husband was taking a photo of me, she abruptly interrupted to ask whether we wanted the salad now or later. Most servers would politely offer to take a photo; this interaction felt uncomfortable and dismissive.
Throughout the meal, which lasted less than 30 minutes, she kept returning repeatedly to ask if we wanted to order more, often glancing at my plate in a way that felt judgmental, as if we were expected to finish and leave quickly. Before we even finished eating, she dropped the dessert menu on the table without asking and walked away.
When we declined dessert, she returned with a melted chocolate box, with a candle stuck into a strawberry piece on a plate. There was no “Happy Birthday” from our server, no explanation, and no sign of appreciation for our visit. The table wasn’t properly cleared, and she quickly lit the candle and left.
We were polite and respectful throughout the evening, yet the way we were treated felt noticeably different from other guests. It honestly felt discriminatory, which is extremely disappointing and not something I ever expected.
I’m sharing this so no one else has their special occasion handled this way.

I can't say enough about the service we received while celebrating my sons birthday, from the time we arrived until we left - truly top notch service. The food was perfect too! The hostesses wished a Happy Birthday and it continued throughout the meal. The finishing touch was the dessert and the accompanying birthday card signed by the staff - never seen that before and we truly appreciated it. My Petite Filet was served medium plus and it was perfect. The short rib, the chili calamari, Lettuce wedge and Chipotle Mac and Cheese were delicious. My son said his wine recommendation was excellent. All in all it was a great experience and I encourage all to visit !

Our server was a rock star. Lobster Bisque tasted watered down. Scallops dry and no flavor. My spouses steak was flat out terrible. Our server took the meals off the ticket. I flipped her $100 she was great. Not one manager spoke with us.

My girlfriend and I enjoyed a very relaxing evening here this Thanksgiving and we appreciated the attentiveness of the staff, the speed of service considering how busy they were, and the quality of the meal itself. We got lost in conversation and when we finally looked around we were the last two seated at the end of the night. No one rushed us out or had asked us to leave as they were closing, they simply let two ladies catch up over delicious food and wine. Top notch service and an experience I would recommend.
