    Date: October 31, 2025 Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Disrespectful and Discriminatory Treatment Walk-Up Booth on October 30, 2025 @ 10:30 PM To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding an unpleasant and discriminatory experience my family and I encountered at your walk-up booth location on October 30th, 2025, around 10:30 PM. The sign at the booth stated “Open 24 Hours”, which led us to believe service would be available without issue. Unfortunately, the behavior of your employee (a female barista wearing eyeliner and a beanie, working as the cashier at the time) completely ruined what should have been a simple visit. My family and I approached the booth to order a few drinks, including Shark Attack, Christmas Morning, and Vampire Slayer. There were no lines, and we placed our order politely in English after speaking briefly among ourselves in Spanish. We waited about 20 minutes for our drinks, which we understood could take some time, and remained patient. However, when our drinks were finally handed to us, we immediately noticed they were incorrect. Before we could address the issue, the barista closed the window on us. A nearby security guard then instructed us to “go near that tree and someone will come out and help you.” This was both confusing and unprofessional. When the barista returned, she displayed a dismissive and rude attitude. She stated, “It’s iced — the photo on the app is blended, that’s why it looks that color,” which I found misleading and indicative of false advertisement. I calmly responded that I had ordered the same drink at multiple locations and it had never looked like this before, yet she continued to act with hostility and disrespect. When she remade the drinks, she again said they would “still look like that,” and then placed the drinks on the ground instead of handing them to me directly. This action was especially disrespectful — it made me feel humiliated and dehumanized, as though I was being treated like an animal. At no point did she attempt to resolve the issue with courtesy or professionalism. Issues i would love to be resolved for the future: -We were denied the opportunity to immediately communicate our order issue before the window was closed. -The barista displayed attitude and unprofessional behavior when we attempted to clarify the mistake. -The explanation provided amounted to false advertising, as the product did not match the description or photo. -The barista’s act of placing the drinks on the floor rather than handing them over respectfully was demeaning and discriminatory. I strongly believe this employee’s actions reflect poor training in customer service and cultural sensitivity. As paying customers, my family and I deserve to be treated with respect and fairness, regardless of our language or background. I request that this complaint be formally reviewed, that the staff involved be retrained on customer service and discrimination policies, and that I receive a written apology and clarification regarding any follow-up actions taken. Thank you for your attention to this serious matter. I hope to hear back soon regarding a resolution.
