  Have been frequenting Serrano’s since 1996, which means for two-thirds of my life Serrano’s hot sauce has been a constant companion, having been there for birthdays, graduations, NBA All-Star Weekends, grandma celebrations, and various other special occasions (though the quiet Saturday nights are the ones I appreciate most). Though in recent years I’ve had to limit seeing my old friend to two times per week as opposed to the traditional three or four (*trying* to spare my stomach lining, however in vain), I’ve come to enjoy Serrano’s even *more* due to new friends who, unlike Serrano’s hot sauce, can engage in conversation. (No offense, hot sauce, you know I love you.) Speaking of them, Danny is excellent, a terrific bartender, and I enjoy talking with him about the bartender life and the Suns. Heidi is also terrific, and I enjoy talking with her about life. Michelle is *also* terrific. In fact, every employee I’ve encountered there is terrific. Having worked in any number of restaurant environments, I know that the team reflects their coaches, so kudos to Michelle and the other managers for instilling such customer service dedication. In the end, if Serrano’s wasn’t there, with its lights, with the “Open” sign on a Saturday night, that northwest corner of McKellips and Gilbert simply wouldn’t be the same. Cheers 🥂

  Serrano's has the best chile rellenos and I always love their machaca beef tacos and on their nachos.

  The bean dip, salsa and chips are excellent. The service is kind of lacking some of the time.
