  I'm giving this store 4 stars but I'm giving a cashier name Rosie 1 star. I was shopping yesterday and saw some digital deals that I didn't see when I was on the app. I reached into my purse to get my phone so I could clip these deals only I had left my phone at home. So instead of doing self check I went through Rosie's line to see if she could clip the deals through her register. I politely asked her if she could help me with that (as EVERY other cashier there does it without you having to ask) and Rosie gave me a look and said "where's your phone" I explained that I left it at home and that was why I was asking her. Rosie looks at me and says "I can help you.....this time." No Rosie, you can and you will help me every time. I've have shopped at this store two to three times a week for over 20 years and spent THOUSANDS of dollars here. Rosie you are the reason your job is being replaced by robots. You need to be stalking shelves because your customer service skills are a big fat ZERO.

  I’m honestly shocked by my experience at Safeway. I purchased three lobster tails, and the moment I opened the package at home, I was hit with a strong, rancid, sour smell, completely inedible and clearly spoiled. It’s extremely concerning that something like this made it through the meat department and was sold to a customer. I called the store and was told exchanging them would be no problem, but when I came in, the situation got worse. The customer service representative was dismissive and spoke to me in a condescending way, as if I had done something wrong, simply because I didn’t bring my ID to return spoiled food. That level of attitude on top of a serious food quality issue is unacceptable. This isn’t just about inconvenience, this is a health risk. If someone with a weaker sense of smell had cooked and eaten that seafood, it could have made them seriously ill. The fact that spoiled seafood was on the shelf at all makes me question the safety of everything in that department. I would appreciate someone from management or corporate reaching out to address both the food safety concern and the way this situation was handled. This experience has completely shaken my trust, and I hope immediate steps are taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

  I like Safeways this was a good Safeway it's a Super Safeway everybody was cordial it was real busy I don't have too much to say about it it just was a good place
