Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
I have gone several times. They can handle a normal burger, but if you want something more, it is likely to be wrong or skimpy. My green chili burger had 3 chilies across the whole burger. Other Whataburgers fill them so full that the chilies spill off the bun. My mom ordered a Monterey melt and she had no cheese, no peppers between the burgers (which others do and the burger is photographed as having), and about a teaspoon of the pepper mixture. I personally think the management tells them to skimp because it is so pervasive. Reading other reviews just enforces the idea that there is poor management.

My husband and I have eaten at this new Whataburger at least 5 times since it's opened simply because it's so close and so convenient. So far the food has come hot and fresh and pretty tasty. We tend to stick with the Whataburger junior or double meat Whataburger junior and they're very filling. The regular size Whataburger is too large for either of us. I like to order mine without tomatoes and mustard and so far 4 out of 5 times they've gotten our orders right. Weike their onion rings and fries too. My husband tried the spicy chicken sandwich once and said it was "just ok". They're really not any better or worse than most of the other fast food burger joints around here. We used to prefer Burger King and we still really like them so we'll be splitting our orders between Whataburger and Burger King most likely. We haven't yet tried their wings... I'm cut to know how they are so I'll be watching for reviews on those!

This BRAND new location has now twice told me their shake machine was "broken" when I went in the morning. Instead of lying to me try saying the truth that they are too lazy to have cleaned it so that it would be available during normal hours. However this is a 24/7 store but what good does that do when your items aren't. They been open less then 6 months and their shake machine broken both times? Ya right sounds like they need to do a better job at lying or get a real manager who is on top of critical issues such as one of your "machines" is broken and needs immediate repair. Which is it? Im gonna go with they are lazy as an overall company because the reason I started going to this location was because the other store does the same thing and figured since they are brand new what are the chances they pull the same crap? Well looks like its a company malfunction and I dont have time to listen to the excuses. If you advertise 24/7 but one of your biggest sellers won't be available during that 24/7 time frame then post it somewhere so people dont waste their time coming to a place that only offers certain items at different times. Now they lost a customer for life. With all the competition these days, gotta do better Whataburger

I asked for a triple jalapeno cheese burger, I dont know if they even are considerate for the customers orders and instead gave me a single, terrible service and robbed my extra 5 dollars I paid. Brian M, and Rey F dont know how to read there orders on that TV they stare at for people's orders, avoid this place at all cost, go to the signal butte location instead.
