Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers reported issues with incorrect orders, including missing items and wrong modifications.

We’re from out of town and decided to give this place a try! Elaine helped us out today and she was so amazing! Felt so welcomed the minute we walked in, she gave our pup some water & answered any questions we had! Thank you for the best first experience!

Always clean, bathrooms as well. Excellent staff, attentive and friendly. Burgers so fresh off the grill I have to let them cool off a minute or so. Personal fave is the green chili double! The app is also very useful, I find you can save some time, like 5 to 10 minutes buy ordering ahead.

What’s the deal with the green tomatoes in my burger.!!!!
I should have known this visit was going to be different. I pulled up to the speaker and the girl taking my order couldn’t seem to stop laughing for something in the background that I’m sure had nothing to do with her job. To come home to take a bite out of burger and sense something was off was very disappointing. Not only were the tomatoes hard, they were green. We already pay a lot for everything due to inflation. You would think they would at least try to get things right. Not cool Whataburger!

Im very upset today with the way my food was prepared, today I purchased food on 4/7 and had it special made. My order was a combo meal with a Burger no pickles add cheese and grilled onions extra mayo and ketchup. Not only did I not receive anything extra it was no mayo at all fries cold and my meat was still PINK!!!! This was the worst service and now I don't think I will be back. When I called back the "Mgr" asked was I coming back I stated no and just asked her to make sure she told the cooks to follow cook time she said ok bye. Like are you serious?? I hate thatbi had to leave such a review but maybe someone else can get my message to the right person.

Multiple times I've been to this place and if you want your burger to taste like a genuine Texas Whataburger don't come here they never add the mustard that makes the burger taste the way it should, I don't have any problems at any other places around East Mesa or surrounding areas but this place here the taste is not even close to what all the water burger places taste like I like to know why this particular place takes it upon themselves to make a hamburger the way they want to not the way corporate wants it done
