Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Many customers praised the friendly and helpful staff, highlighting specific employees for their exceptional service.
Food Quality
Feedback on food quality was mixed; while some enjoyed the burgers and shakes, others reported issues with cold or poorly prepared items.
Cleanliness
Several reviews noted that the restaurant was clean and well-maintained, although some mentioned inconsistent cleanliness in the dining area.
Order Accuracy
There were multiple complaints about incorrect orders and delays in service, particularly in the drive-thru and curbside pickup.
Value for Money
Customers expressed concerns about pricing relative to food quality, with some feeling that the meals were overpriced for what they received.

Good is great never an issue but it’s a chain restaurant and the problem is never how the food tastes but inconsistent service. Don’t usually have any noteworthy problems at this location but today I was given the wrong size coffee smaller than what I ordered and after bringing it up they acknowledge yea we can fix that and continue to hand me a bag without one of my sandwiches. And then when I brought it up all but accused me of lying to the point I literally ripped open the bag so they could see and just give me what I paid for! At that point I had to wait for almost another 10 minutes for just one sandwich and when I got home my food was frickin cold! Just unreal bad service this morning and I hope it’s not the new norm for this location.
Update: when I got home I also discovered the original sandwich was wrong too! Upon going back to get the order remade I learned that person working the drive thru that helped me was also the manager, Jonathan

Good burger. Probably the best fast food. They have some twists compared to most fast food.

Standard drive-thru food. The party melt was onion HEAVY and it overpowered the flavor of the patty melt. Still good otherwise. Fries were good, drink was really big which is a plus for the standard price of the regular combo. As for service, they take a really long time to move the line of cars for a fast food restaurant.
