It's crazy how every single time I use a gift card (can't use them in the app anymore because McDonald's is dumb) my total ends up being DOUBLE what it would have been in the app. It's so bad that if I am ordering in person I put everything in my cart on the app to confront them with later. This time they put a bunch of extra sandwiches on that I didn't order! It would help if they showed the order on the screen or read it back to you for accuracy, but I'm sure that would take actual effort. I do not give them any money until I know I am only being charged for what I ordered! This has happened at multiple locations now.
