This morning around 8 a.m., while driving my 4 year old to school, I stopped at this Dunkin’ and used the drive through. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and upsetting. The drive thru screen was frozen, so I calmly asked what food items were available. I never raised my voice and was not rude at any point. When I pulled up to the window, I asked the employee standing there if she had taken my order, she said no and pointed to another employee (who later identified herself as the manager, Maria).
Because my concern was with how the interaction was handled, I asked to speak with a supervisor. Maria stated that she was the manager and flat out refused to provide any supervisor or owner contact information. She initially would not even provide her own name, another staff member had to do so. She then told the staff they would not be serving me and shut the drive through window on me. All of this happened simply because I asked for a supervisor after feeling she was rude. Her staff appeared visibly uncomfortable, almost afraid to speak, which was very concerning.
I left in tears with my 4 year old asking why that “man” was so angry. That alone should never happen over a coffee order. To make matters worse, instead of providing the food I had ordered or acknowledging my request for escalation, Maria exited the building and took photos of my license plate. That was completely inappropriate and unsettling.
I have already contacted corporate, and based on other reviews, this seems to be a recurring issue at this location. Dunkin’, I love your brand but this behavior is not what Dunkin’ stands for. I would like the owner to contact me and to see some kind of action taken. Do better
****** update, this morning right now at 6:30 am said “manager” called me and said so what’s the complaint😐 ^^^^ I’m pretty sure I wrote it out. Whomever the owner is should be upset, why is the manager I complained about calling and accosting me and not identifying herself when asked who this is 2 times…the owner can call me but certainly not the unprofessional joke of a manager Maria…again do better, this 60 year old crazy “manager” should not be calling me period. Corporate will be called yet again about this. What an absolute mess of an establishment
