My first visit to this restaurant was a Monday morning in early October, and honestly… it could not have gone worse. I brought my mother, siblings, and boyfriend to try somewhere new, but our server, Daniel, made the entire experience uncomfortable from start to finish.
From the moment we sat down, he acted annoyed, uninterested, and honestly like we were bothering him just by showing up to eat breakfast. He gave off this energy like he’d rather be anywhere else. I’ve had better service from Mcdonald’s at 2am.
We ordered regular coffee, and he brought it out STONE cold. Not warm… COLD. I don’t know how someone serves cold coffee in the morning unless they simply don’t care. When we politely told Daniel, he looked even more irritated, like we had personally offended him by wanting a warm drink. If he had put half as much effort into his job as he did into looking annoyed, it wouldn’t have even been an issue.
When the food arrived (brought out by someone who was thankfully much nicer), we realized we had no utensils. Daniel had vanished. No check-in, no follow-up, nothing. It was like we didn’t exist. We had to track down another server just to get utensils.
My sister ordered over-easy eggs and got over-hard. I asked for a soda refill and was met with a nasty attitude for simply wanting more to drink. After that, he straight-up disappeared. Half the time he was hiding at the bar or pretending to be busy in the kitchen. Not once did he come back to check on us, fix mistakes, or make sure we were okay.
When he finally reappeared, we asked for the bill he dropped the check on the table without a single word, like he couldn’t wait for us to leave and stop “bothering” him with our presence. The food was delicious but If you’re looking for an experience full of attitude, neglect, and irritation, congratulations… Daniel is your guy. Otherwise, save yourself the headache.
Fast forward to today Sunday, we gave the restaurant a second chance for my mom’s birthday. She really enjoyed the food the first time. This time, we were blessed with aylin. The difference was unbelievable.
We decided on sitting on the patio, the second we sat down, she greeted us with the biggest, warmest smile. Even though the restaurant was a bit busy, she was attentive, patient, and genuinely kind. She checked on us often, kept our drinks full, answered every question, and made sure every single thing came out exactly how we wanted it.
It was like we were dining at a completely different restaurant compared to our first visit. Aylin single-handedly turned our opinion around. She is the definition of great service, professional, friendly, and so on top of everything.
The food here is very delicious, get the cafe de olla with a concha 😍😍!!! This visit was a thousand times better than the last, all thanks to Aylin. Servers like her truly make a difference, and she deserves all the recognition. Thank you, Aylin, for making my mom’s birthday brunch amazing, we will absolutely be back!!! 🙌🏼❤️

Fantastic! We prefer seating at the bar and our experience was great! Jojo went over and above our expectations in every category!. The service, the fun, the Dos Equis, the food..,,, EVERYTHING was exceptional! And where else do you get served a 16 oz Draft beer for $3! It is delivered without hesitancy and with a big jolly smile each time!!!! If you haven’t done Chilaquiles in Maricopa with Jojo..,,, put it on your bucket list!

I’ve been here 3 times the last 2 months and all times the food had good flavor but got to our table cold. The first time we went for dinner, we ordered the Molcajete and I enjoyed everything except for the carne asada, which had a weird taste and tough texture. The second time we went for breakfast and ordered the chilaquiles trio with al pastor, cafe de olla, and the strawberry shortcake pancakes. The flavor of the chilaquiles was great, the Al pastor was okay but sparse, and the overall temperature of the food was barely warm like it had been sitting for a while. The cafe de olla was lukewarm, however the mug was hot so I’m sure they just warmed it up in a microwave. The concha that came with the coffee was okay but kind of stale. The pancakes again had good flavor but they weren’t warm. The ice cream bar appeared to have been melted and refrozen. The sever we had only seen maybe three times tops the entire time we were there. The third time we came was for breakfast again and we again ordered the chilaquiles trio with the banana pudding pancakes. The food came out fast but was surprisingly still barely warm which makes me think they had the plates sitting out before we even ordered. I wouldn’t mind waiting a little longer for fresh and hot food. The pancakes were great, again only complaint was the temperature. We really wanted to like this place since it’s new and a little different from other restaurants we have in Maricopa but I’d honestly maybe only come back for drinks and apps if that
