The Barro’s Pizza recipe comes from Grandma Angelina Barro who came from Italy in the 1930’s, providing a pizza unlike any other. People may disagree on whether it's the thick crust with its light, flakey texture, which almost melts in your mouth, or the wonderful spiced sauce that is the secret of this great tasting pizza. Barro’s Pizza also provides wings, salads, sandwiches, pastas, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.

Unsanitary health hazard. Stay away! As a long time customer of other Barro's locations, I visited this location today for the first time. It's the last time I'll be back. When we were given our food, we were given napkins. When I asked for plates, they said they didn't have any clean ones. Seriously?!? They should have told this to us before we ordered our food because we would not have at lunch here. When we were done eating our food on napkins like peasants, I asked for a to go box for our left over pizza. When I opened the box, I found a big greasy shoe print on the inside of it! I took the box to the counter and asked for a clean one. The girl told me "That one was on the floor." WHAT?!?! Why are you giving out boxes that were getting trampled on the floor?!?! I cannot believe this was the service this place provided. If this is how food is served, the doors need to be closed.

We ordered from here Saturday night after returning home from a day spent in Tucson. It was late, the kids were hungry, and I wasn't up to cooking. I'd heard great things about Barros and wanted to try it out.
We spent $77 on four pizzas and some wings, a bit pricey but we are a family of six. It was supposed to be ready in 25 minutes, which we were ok with since it takes us 15 minutes to drive there from Tortosa anyway. I ended up pulling in about 35-40 minutes after I placed the order. I then went to the counter and waited there for 7 minutes for anyone to acknowledge my existence.
I finally got our food and brought it home to find the pizzas were cut terribly. I had to use shears to finish cutting them all the way through since we don't have a pizza cutter. The sausage pizza had hardly any toppings, with some slices having none at all. The wings were pretty much the only redeeming quality of this experience.
Overall, my kids were fed and happy because it's pizza. I was not, because for the money spent, I expected better. We are unlikely to return in the future.
Pictures are of our order and three horribly cut slices of the "sausage" pizza, which one slice very notably missing any sausage.

Placed my order online and when I got home I realized they got my order wrong. I called and they said I was at fault but I assured them I did not order the food that was given to me, I double checked. Talked to a manger who sounded like some teenage kid and I offered to bring the food back to get what I ordered. The “manager” if you can even call him that had no solution and said nope can’t do anything for you…why they hired a manager who is not capable of doing his job is beyond me, non existent customer service. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

We’ve enjoyed Barro’s Pizza in the past, but my recent order had a green stink bug baked into it, giving the pizza a horrible, rotten taste. While they refunded me and apologized, this is extremely unsanitary and concerning. I won’t be returning.
Update: I became sick later into the night after my visit, experiencing vomiting, stomach aches, and nausea. I would be cautious about this location.
