  This was a really nice McDonald’s. The staff at the counter was very helpful. I had a coupon code from a survey. I wasn’t sure how to use the order and she was super helpful. The food came out quickly and was made well. Try the new big arch. It was good, but if we hadn’t had a coupon, I’m not sure we would order it again for $10. It was larger for sure and better made. The only detraction to the atmosphere is that there is no condiment island anymore and no napkins out either. It’s kind of annoyed to have to ask for those as well as a drink refill now.

  Major understaffed problem. Can't handle the flow. Whoever is scheduling is messing it up and not having enough people on service. I feel bad for the workers sad

  Just a heads-up if you’re thinking about coming in the morning—this place gets unbearably hot, and it’s packed with older folks. Meanwhile, the kids’ play area is usually cool and mostly empty, but for some reason it’s not open. It honestly feels like customers are expected to sit there sweating through their meal. Later in the day, once the crowd clears out, they finally turn the air conditioning on. I’ll give it a few days to see if things improve before taking it up with corporate. When did sweating to death become part of the dining experience at McDonald's?

  One of the worst places in havasu to get something quick. The service is horrendous and the people who work there have a serious attitude problem and acted completely oblivious to their own jobs as if they had no clue what they were doing. I had gone through the drive through to get a quick meal for my friend, the male over the intercom was extremely rude. I pulled up to the window and the man shoved the card reader out of the window and didn’t say a word to me. I told him I had a gift card and handed it out the window to him, no response. I told him again, I have a gift card and can’t tap or use a chip. Again NOTHING!! I asked him can you please grab the card and enter it into the machine. He grabbed it from me and stood there looking at the card for over 10 seconds before a manager came and entered it in and threw the receipt at me. Once I pulled up to get our order and it was handed to me I went to ask a female worker if I could please have ranch. She slammed the window as I was speaking to her. I waited until another man came to the window and he yelled at me asking “What do you want?” I asked if I could please have ranch and then slammed the window for the second time. After leaving we had no napkins, no straw, and the order wasn’t even made correctly.

  During a drive-thru order in 3/8/26, a Diet Coke was mistakenly included in my order. When I reached the window, I calmly informed the employee that I did not want a Diet Coke and asked if I could receive a regular Coke instead. The employee repeatedly insisted that I had ordered Diet Coke rather than simply replacing the drink. I explained that mistakes happen and that I simply wanted the drink corrected, but the employee continued to argue that it was my order, they didn't need to the order. I then asked if I could speak with a supervisor. When the supervisor came to the window, she also began arguing about whether the drink had been ordered correctly rather than resolving the issue. At that point I politely asked if I could have the owner’s contact information so I could discuss the situation with them directly. Instead of providing that information, the supervisor abruptly slammed the drive-thru window shut and told me to leave, despite the fact that I had already paid for my order via the app. I previously managed a Toyota dealership, and one of the core principles we taught our staff was that customers can purchase products almost anywhere—what truly differentiates a business is service. Restaurants are no different. In a city like Lake Havasu, there are dozens of places to eat, and customers ultimately choose where to go based on how they are treated. Arguing with a customer over a simple drink correction and then closing the window in their face is not the level of service one expects from the McDonald’s brand. I am bringing this to your attention not because of the drink itself, but because the situation was handled in a way that reflects poorly on the restaurant and the brand as a whole.
