Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Currently having the worst case of food poisoning in my adult life. I love whataburger so this is extremely disappointing. Having previously been a fast food Manager I know all about time temperature abuse. I no longer am confident in how this specific location is handling food safety. Won’t be coming back, sadly.

I asked for a receipt as the kiosk didn't print and was shrugged at. Overall attitude of the employees can be summed up as annoyed customers were even there. Also missed out on points for the app due to employees refusal to give receipt. As a bonus though, my double burger was only a single. What a rip off.

I should have written this review a long time ago, but tonight sealed the deal.
I honestly can’t tell which location is worse — this one on Estrella Parkway or the one on Dysart. I live nearby, and at this point I’d rather drive all the way to Surprise if I really want Whataburger.
Tonight the food quality and service were disappointing again. I ordered two chicken gravies, but they weren’t included in my order. This happens often. By the time I realize it, I’m already home, and I’d rather eat while the food is still warm than drive back, so I just end up losing the $1.50. At this point, I honestly wish they would just take it off the menu if they don’t want to make it.
The burgers were actually hot, which surprised me in a good way. Unfortunately, they were extremely greasy, and the sauce was incredibly salty. I love salt, but this was way too much and grossed me out — it completely overpowered everything. The fries were cold as always and tasted stale which is unfortunately expected hoping the burger would make up for it.
Overall, this location has consistently bad food quality and poor service. I don’t want anything for free — I just don’t want people coming here expecting a decent meal. We won’t be coming back to this location, and probably not Whataburger for a while. If we do, we’ll drive to the Surprise location where the staff at least seems to care and there are some standards.
Awful place. Terrible food. Terrible customer service.

I went through the drive Thru and the Young man taking the order straight he had to ask four different after I was very clear and polite. They got my entire order wrong. Everything after I had repeated it multiple times nothing was correct. Other than that the Green Chile Double is a great burger. I wanted it with bacon which I did not get after repeating it multiple times. I usually won't complain and I certainly would not want to get someone fired but he acted confused. They were not busy at all 4pm in the afternoon..He may be new and in need more training.

I am a rewards member and eat here frequently. I saw on the app they had a bogo (buy one get one free deal) for the honey butter chicken biscuit. I scanned on the app the qr code to do the bogo deal and the team lead (4/10/26 around 7:00 am) didn't give me the free biscuit when I had already paid and SCANNED to do the deal. On top of that, she had terrible customer service skills as she wasn't kind, looked like she didn't want to be there, and was very unenthusiastic. Mind you, I was the only customer in LINE and there were no customers in the dining room. I'm extremely disappointed in this service and experience as I come to this location often. I wish I would've seen the name tag for the so called "team lead" who didn't even do her job. Most likely won't be coming back and I don't recommend this location on account for their terrible customer service skills.
