  First time in, used self order kiosk, very easy. Food was fresh & delicious, ready in less than 10minutes. I had burger bundle with fries and small vanilla cake shake, husband had burger bundle with cheese, onion rings and chocolate shake 10/10 recommend

  The food is very tasty doesnt look as tasty in pictures but is absolutely delicious normally i get the chocolate cake shake but im a sucker for birthday cake and had to get the birthday cake shake was well worth it got the big Italian beef the beef and cheddar croissant and fish sandwich all were wonder

  Part of Portillo's charm is the turn style doors. Unfortunately they are broken at this location. It's been broken for several months now. 🫤 We couldn't find a clean table after walking around a bit. I ended up wiping down a table with some napkins. Crumbs on booth tables and on the seats .There is a man walking around talking to people with a towel in his hand but not once did I see him cleaning the tables? The merchandise/dessert shelves are completely empty. The food, delicious as always.. Love their strawberry shakes!

  The polish sausage is authentic Chicago taste with the char excellent. I was surprised you do not offer sauerkraut. Sauerkraut on a Polish is standard in Chicago meaning you can get it if you want it. The Italian beef is spot on excellent, you do need to fill the container with jus at least 3/4 of the way. I have been 3 times in 3 weeks and each time they give me a container thats filled a 1/4 of an inch??? The chili cheese dog is good but not the best ive ever had. Your fries are good but have your cooks cook the fries alittle longer so they get crisp not saggy. Over all the food is very good and your staff works together like a team and they are on top of it from cooks to order takers to the lady that keeps the front if the house clean. I know i spent 46 years of my life in the restaurant buisness. I started in a Chicago hot dog joint in 1977 when i was 12 with the same menu you have. My job was to pour drinks, wash dishes, sweep mop and clean tables. By 15 i was cooking and locking up at night and paying the staff. I spent the last 33 years as an Executive Chef in high end restaurants, Clubs and hotels around the world. My point is I know a well run establishment when i see it. The secret to my success was not that i did it on my own it was that I built great teams that had passion and i treated them with respect. Every cook in my kitchens started on one station and was trained on all stations eventually, this fanned the passion. Great teams make everyone successful keep it up. Congratulations great Job

  Never have I met a staff of more dense yet simultaneously also rude and short to its customers and delivery drivers. You expect more from a place like this. They hold themselves as this wonderful place to eat food, but the reality is, it really isn’t. Or at least this location is making that seem so. I have only eaten here one time, and it was one of the most disappointing meals I have ever had in my life. Now just recently, as a delivery driver have taken a couple orders from this location. Every single time I was in there, I had a negative experience with the staff and with picking up the orders. They exasperatedly tell me to go to one pick up area, then after waiting for someone to show up the other employee responded to go back go the original area I was at in the first place, with a similar attitude. Absolutely bitter and unprofessional staff.
