Horrible customer service hung up the phone on me in the middle of the conversation trying to figure out a solution to old and crappy food and after I called many times with no answer

My little brother came here with his friend. 9:00pm 4/06/2026
I wasn’t going to originally make a review since my brother didn’t want me to but the employee I spoke with on the phone didn’t leave a favorable impression unfortunately.
He got a burger with no onions (he doesn’t like them) and no tomatoes (since he is allergic). I assume he didn’t check because he trusted the cashier had made sure that it was written down. Unfortunately after getting half way in, he bite into part of a tomato and had a allergic reaction.
I called the Wendy’s to have a employee or manger talk to the staff and just to double check food so another person doesn’t have this type of problem. I didn’t want a refund or anything just a quick check with their fellow coworkers on double checking food.
Unfortunately, the employee I spoke with seemed more annoyed that I called them and was less concerned or rather understanding than I was hoping for.
I wasn’t expecting sympathy for my brother but atleast understanding for what my little brother is going through.
I work in fast food as well so I understand how annoying customers can be but I don’t think I was asking much or was talking in a aggressive tone. I truly hope I just caught this employee on the wrong day and they’re more compassionate on other days.

I regularly order a Single Cheeseburger and a Large Dr. Pepper for lunch. Today, after repeating my order three times, the Wendy’s team member went to charge me for the combo instead. Before she charged my card, I politely explained I just wanted the sandwich and the drink, not the combo. The team member rolled her eyes and asked two coworkers how to void the order. After watching them stand around talking about it, for 3-4 minutes, I told them to forget it and charge me for the combo. Apparently there was no manager on duty, terrible customer service is par for the course and rolling your eyes at the customer is accepted.

Yeah I'm not coming back to this Wendy's. Or any Wendy's for that matter I think I'm going to put them in the same category as McDonald's too expensive for two little. I have yet to get a side any side from this location be it the cinnabon Pull-A-Parts which the last one I ordered was an absolute Rock, fries that are always stone cold or my favorite was being charged an extra dollar fifty for a sour cream and chive potato in my combo and then that not even being cooked and sent to me with some chives and butter on top of an uncooked potato. Oh and my favorite is whenever you try to contact customer service and you tell them the other reasons they immediately start acting like they lost connection.
