Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Several customers reported issues with cold or old food, particularly fries and burgers, leading to dissatisfaction.
Service Speed
Many reviews highlighted slow service times, especially during busy hours, with some customers waiting excessively for their orders.
Customer Service

Order Accuracy

Cleanliness
The restaurant was generally noted for being clean, contributing positively to the dining experience.

Got tired of eating inside because they keep the temperature inside very cold. When eating inside your food gets cold quickly because of the low temperature. I did take this time but will look for a place that does not freeze you out

This is Whataburger. Major nationwide food chains like Whataburger everybody knows about. There's not much I can say new., but this place has been open for a month so there's no excuse for just being new.
Overall, Whataburger is not a really great hamburger. They just make him really big, but that doesn't mean they're any thing special.
Example; the hamburger I got had a diameter of slightly more than half the length of the wrapper. So think about that, how do you wrap the hamburger securely with this piece of paper when the hamburger is very big and messy?
Answer, you really can't so when I pull it out of the bag after I get home, the entire wrapper opens up and the hamburger and all of its pieces and parts, fall onto the floor.

staff was lovely, the food was fine and edible, just sort of an odd taste to the chicken tenders.. not burnt or sweet but somehow tasted like a sweet burnt taste? perfect texture, just odd.. i suppose the fries were limpy too, not fully soggy.. but enough of a reason for me to dislike eating them?
maybe it's matter of opinion, but to the picky eaters out there who rely on chicken tenders/nuggets to rely on... you've been warned

When we’re out and about on Sunday mornings, this Whataburger is our go-to breakfast stop. There’s just something comforting about pulling into that orange-and-white building, knowing the food will hit the spot every time. The breakfast sandwiches come out hot, fresh, and perfectly made — the kind of meal that makes the day feel like it’s starting off right.
The team here always greets us with friendly smiles, even when it’s busy, and the service stays fast and consistent. It’s become a little Sunday tradition for us — great food, easy vibes, and that unmistakable Whataburger flavor that never disappoints.
